The President Claims Race Relations are Better, Are They?

It would appear that Race Relations in the Country have taken a massive step back over the last several months.  The President claims they have gotten better, but have they?

Protests have erupted around the Country over deaths of Black Men at the hands of White Cops.  The actual facts of all of these cases have seemed to become irrelevant and in every instance it has become a conversation about race.  Did race really play a role in any of these cases?  You could make an argument that since it was White Officers and Black Men that yes race did play a role.

The narrative has been that it was the White Officers at fault in each of these cases.  I would argue that there is a great fault in that thinking.  The evidence in these cases have shown that the actions of the Officers, be them White or Not, was justified.

How about we take a different and not so popular look at these cases.  What if the Black Offenders would have been approached by Black Officers?  Would Mike Brown have attacked the Officer?  Would Mike Brown have escalated the situation?  Was race at issue because Mike Brown was dealing with a White Cop?

In Milwaukee the narrative has been about the Mental Illness of Dontre Hamilton in the Police Shooting that killed Mr. Hamilton.  It is tragic that this situation cost a man his life.  However you have to look at the situation.  How was the Officer to know that Mr. Hamilton had a Mental Illness?  Does the Mental Illness excuse the actions of Mr. Hamilton beating the Police Officer?  What was the Officer expected to do?

The President, Attorney General and Mayor of NY claim that the Police handle these situations differently in the Black Community.

A majority of the Crime in Milwaukee is in an area that is predominately black.  85% of Homicide arrests are of Black People.  78% of the Homicide Victims are Black.

Wouldn't this tend to support the Police handling things differently in the Black Community.  If a majority of the crime is there, then you expect the Police to be more aggressive in that area.

This isn't about race, it is about crime.

If you listen to the narrative coming out of all of these protests, Police Officers patrolling the Black communities should also be Black so that we can take race out of the equation.  Is that how we solve the race issue?  We should also stop the aggressive Police activity in the High Crime areas.  I also guess that the actions of a criminal don't seem to matter.

It amazes me that every night on the nightly news we hear about all the killings.  We hear about kids being killed in the cross fire or from shots that are just fired at houses indiscriminately.  Don't see protests or the level of outrage that we have seen over the deaths that involve Police Officers.  Maybe if we as a community would stand up and not tolerate these thugs and criminals we would see a dramatic stop to the crime and killings.  If we didn't allow people who have a long list of criminal offenses back out on the streets for yet another chance, we would have all this crime.

This isn't a problem the Police can solve until we as a people stand up and say no more.  A criminal is a criminal.  If they break the law then they pay the price.  If the law is a silly law, it isn't the Police at fault, it is the Politicians who pass said laws.  We can't let a criminal become the victim, when you put yourself in that situation then you have to expect bad things can and will happen.  We have all to often tried to give chance after chance to criminals until something bad happens then we blame the system.  The system is US!!!!

This isn't about Race.  Black Lives Matter, White Lives Matter, ALL LIVES MATTER!!!  It isn't about race.

Cops Feel Attacked by President and Attorney General

The perception has been there from the beginning that the President and the Attorney General were lining up with the protestors to attack local Law Enforcement officials in the race heated debate over the last couple of months.

Here is the NYC Police Commisioner's take on it.

FOX News:

Cops on the beat and their bosses believe they are under attack from President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, New York City’s police commissioner said Sunday.
Commissioner William Bratton said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that the president and the attorney general have to see why police have the anxieties and perceptions they have as law enforcement grapples with the fallout from the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases.
“They really do feel under attack, rank-and-file officers and much of American police leadership, that they feel they’re under attack from the federal government at the highest levels,” Bratton said. “So that’s something we need to understand also, this sense of perception that becomes a reality.”
He added, “We have a lot of talking we’re going to have to do here to understand all sides of this issue. This is not a one-sided issue.”
On the program the commissioner also said the rift between New York City cops and Mayor Bill de Blasio is going to take a lot more time to heal.
“However we will be making an effort to sit down and talk with the (police) union leaders, in particular, to deal with their issues,” Bratton said.
On CBS’ “Face the Nation” Bratton criticized his officers for turning their backs on de Blasio Saturday as the mayor eulogized fallen police officer Rafael Ramos.  Hundreds of police officers standing outside the church where Ramos was being laid to rest turned away from TV screens showing de Blasio as he delivered his eulogy.

What is Justice?

Over the past several weeks and months I have heard repeatedly that Justice must be served.

I have watched as Grand Juries have handed down their decisions, DA's have explained the legal reasoning and I still here Justice must be served.

Justice is just that, when the legal system looks over a case and hears from witnesses and decides on the legal course.

Just because it is not the outcome that you want, doesn't mean Justice hasn't been served.  It means you didn't get what you wanted.

We are no longer talking about Justice in these matters.  We are now talking about people who are unhappy because they didn't get the outcome they wanted.  They are throwing their temper tantrums and want us all to join in.

You may not agree with the Justice, and that is your right.  However that doesn't mean that it hasn't been served.  If you don't agree with the system then you need to go about changing it.  However in most of these cases if not all it appears that the left is fighting the left.  The decisions have all involved Democrats and it is vastly the left upset with those decisions.

If the system is truly broke then you need to work to change it.  I agree it is broke, we just disagree in what parts are broke.  If we would quit putting criminals right back out on the street, we might actually make a dent in the crime.

With that being said, Justice has been served in all these cases.  It may not be the Justice you want, but it has been served.  Now if you want to make a difference, let me tell you what many people apparently won't, marching through the streets trying to intimidate citizens, hurting businesses and blocking traffic won't do anything to help your cause.

Here Comes Eric Holder, Again

Why does it appear that AG Eric Holder likes to put himself into situations just to appease people?

In every case, Holder has said that the Federal Government will continue to investigate.  What are they expecting to do?  Change the outcome just because that is what will appease the protestors?

The facts of each case aren't going to change just because the Feds are looking at it.  All this is really doing is keeping things going longer and keeping the turmoil going.

When the President and the AG can't even abide by the law, how or why do we expect everyday citizens to do it?

Worst Democrat or Best? Depends

When it comes to people on the left saying and doing stupid things, it is hard to find who is the worst.  After some brief searching, I think we found him.

Graeme Zielinski has made a living off of being the leading left outspoken and most full of it.  I don't even think have of the people on the left can believe the crap that comes out of this guys mouth.

He not only talks so much BS, but he has to be the leading lefty who has been on the most losing campaigns in history.

Yesterday he again showed his ignorance.  In the wake of the Decision by Democratic DA John Chisholm this is what Graeme Zielinski had to say:

I guess he forgot that all the major players in this were Democrats.  That the Republicans had nothing to do with this whole thing.

Sick and Tired of the Race Card being Played

Every time the news comes on all I hear about is race.  The President telling me about racism, the Attorney General telling me about racism, the Mayor of NY telling me about racism, Protestors telling me about racism.  The only thing I am getting out of all this is that there sure as hell is a lot of racism, and it is from the people preaching to me about racism.

I guess I am racist?  I am white and for the fact alone I am being told I am racist.

I sure don't see any of the things that are happening now doing one thing to help with all of this racism.  Not a single one of these cases that have garnered so much media attention, let alone got the President, Attorney General and Mayor of New York to jump into them, appear to have racism as underlying issue.

Racism isn't a White Police Officer Shooting a Black Criminal.

Racism:
: poor treatment of or violence against people because of their race
: the belief that some races of people are better than others
None of the cases that have led off every news cast can claim racism as the underlying issue.

In every case multiple investigations occurred with the whole world watching and they all have come to the same conclusion of no charges.

I am sick and tired of being told everything is racism just because the people involved are different races.  That does NOT MAKE IT RACISM!!!

All of these protestors and the so called do gooders, President and AG included, would be better off if they would take race off the table and discuss the true underlying issues here.

Every time I turn on the 10pm news I hear of someone getting shot.  A vast majority of those are in the black community.  Amazingly enough I don't see the protestors out there rallying support to stop those crimes.  I have seen kids who become victims of these thugs running the streets, still don't see the protests shutting down streets.  Saw where a 10 year old girl was sexually assaulted on her way to school, nope, no big protest.  All of these events and I haven't seen the President or AG make a single appearance or say a word.

The people, President and AG included, who are supposed to be leaders have done nothing to improve the race relations.  They have instead incited race issues into places that have nothing to with race.  The rhetoric from these so called leaders including the mayor of NYC has only increased the hatred and has played more than a small roll in allowing things to escalate to the level that has cost lives.

Racism can't be determined just because of the color of ones skin, but the beliefs of that person at the core.  People are racist just because they are white and people aren't victims of racism just because they are black.

We need true leadership to move past this and hope that the true leaders can step forward.

President Obama Misses Another Opportunity with Cuba

President Obama has made mistake after mistake with his policies and now has made yet another blunder with his policy on Cuba.

I think that I am on the same page with him that something needed to be done.  He is right that after all this time, a new course of action was necessary.  However he sure sucks at negotiating and getting things done in those negotiations.

There really is no argument that Cuba was in serious trouble.  There biggest supporters, Venezuela and Russia are both in huge financial problems.  Cuba was being left out in the cold.  We had gained tremendous bargaining power and we should have used it.

I have no problem trying to open up diplomatic channels.  We should have demanded some serious concessions.  Instead, Obama through them a lifeline.  Offering to pull back on sanctions and open up the economy to do business with us.  This will give them cash flow and could be the financial means necessary to survive their latest crisis.  Yet we got very little in return.

Old Video of Family Reacting to Robber Being Shot, Amazingly Stupid

Milwaukee DA Says No Charges in Dontre Hamilton Shooting

Here we go again.

Now that the Milwaukee county DA has gathered all the evidence, he has come out and decided that the shooting in Red Arrow park was justified.

Gov. Walker activated the National Guard to be ready for any reactions that may put the public or property in danger.

JS Online:

Former Milwaukee police officer Christopher Manney will not be charged in connection with the on-duty fatal shooting of Dontre Hamilton at Red Arrow Park, Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm said Monday in a news release.

The decision comes nearly eight months after the shooting. Chisholm has said he was waiting on reports from federal authorities and an outside expert on the use of force.

"This was a tragic incident for the Hamilton family and for the community," Chisholm wrote. "But, based on all the evidence and analysis presented in this report, I come to the conclusion that Officer Manney's use of force in this incident was justified self-defense and that defense cannot be reasonably overcome to establish a basis to charge Officer Manney with a crime."

Hamilton's family has repeatedly called for the officer — who has since been fired — to face criminal charges. Hamilton's death has been the subject of a series of protests in downtown Milwaukee, led by his family and supporters.

The Coalition for Justice and other supporters of the Hamilton family are expected to gather at Red Arrow Park in the wake of the decision.

Shooting and Killing of NYPD Officers Result of Poor Leadership

It was very sad to hear that two NYPD Officers were shot and killed by a man who was out for revenge in the Eric Garner and Michael Brown cases.

This is the type of behavior that you get when there is poor leadership in this Country.  You had the President and Attorney General blaming cops for racism.  This only stirred the pot.  Yes, they did come out and say violence isn't the solution, but the divided the country by race and put targets on the Police.

Then you had the idiot Mayor of New York saying how he fears for his safety because of the Police.

What did you think was going to happen?

They sure didn't tell people to go out and kill Police Officers, but they sure gave them every reason to be angry and fear them.

These riots ands so called protests have gone far enough.  It is time to shut these down and restore law and order.  If they don't do this soon you are going to see things only get increasingly more and more violent and out of hand.

America Fails in Cyber Battle

Amazing that America was bullied by hackers!

Does it really matter what Country was behind it?  They made demands and we folded like a cheap suit.

The sad part is that we have no plan to deal with the next one.  The Senate tried to star working on building our Cyber Defenses, but the Almighty Leader, Harry Reed shut it down.  Another item he wouldn't allow to go to vote.

Here we are the oh so powerful, land of the free, and we are being told what to do in our own Country.

What has happened?  Below is about how most of us feel.

Protestors in Milwaukee Make Big Mistake

Protestors in the Dontre Hamilton case took a major turn today that have turned public opinion decidedly against them.

They decided to shut down a major Interst, ate in the midst of rush hour to try and rally. Well they got a reaction.  Milwaukee residents have taken to social media blasting the protestors and saying they have now had enough.

I am not sure who in these groups have decided that interrupting other people's lives and rioting is the way to garner support.

Delavan-Darien Schoold District Knows What is Best for Your Kids

There is something seriously wrong with this system when a school has the right to tell you that you can't choose the school that you want your child to attend.  How does this School Administrator have any clue what is best for this child?

Right Wisconsin:
The Delavan-Darien School District denied a family's request to enroll their children in a neighboring school district by citing the "best interest" of the children.

"We believe it is in the best interest of your children to attend the Delavan-Darien School District," said a letter from Superintendent Robert Crist to Les and Carol Paur. "Your application for the above students to transfer out of the Delavan-Darien School District into the Williams Bay School District under the open enrollment program has been denied by the Delavan-Darien School District for the 2014-15 school year."

Carol Paur, the mother of the students seeking transfer, explained to Charlie Sykes on 620 WTMJ that her daughters were previously enrolled in a Catholic school but were leaving due to financial considerations. Their daughter Elizabeth suffers from anxiety and sought to enroll in Williams Bay, a smaller school district, because of the size and some familiarity with students.

Torture Report More About Politics Than Anything

So the Democrats in the Senate decided to lay out a report documenting the so called "torture" of prisoners captured after 9-11.

The reports were detailed and meant to make everyone cringe and to sell the narrative that the people writing them wanted.

I might not be the moral compass for good in the world based on my views, because I want the people in the CIA and Military to have the ability to do whatever it takes to keep us safe from these Terrorists.  If it takes some Jack Bauer type moves to keep us safe, then so be it.  We keep talking about this moral high road that we are suppose to take.  While the Terrorist are killing thousands of civilians in buildings, beheading others and planning attacks on any of us, we are suppose to be worried about not treating them right?  Seriously?  A vast majority of Americans don't live under a rock.  They know this stuff goes on and I believe understand that it sometimes takes people getting their hands dirty to keep us safe.

I find it ironic that the President and these Democrats come out and have a problem with sleep deprivation, threats and waterboarding, yet have no problem with outright killing them.  That's right, you can't capture someone, keep them up for 48 hours and question them over and over again.  That is torture.  However, it is just fine to send in a drone and kill not only the Terrorist but anyone around them.  That is not torture and it passes our moral compass according to Democrats.

For the record, I am fine with drone strikes.  I just don't understand the hypocrisy.

I think the whole report was more about attacking the former President and his administration.  I think it is the Democrats way of trying to make them look bad and play the blame game yet some more.

Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan Vote Against Disabled People

In a rare occurrence  the House of Representatives passed a bi-partisan bill.  The bill was to help disabled Americans with tax relief.  However out of the 17 people to vote against it, Wisconsin had 2 votes, Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan.  The other 404 members voted for it.

Right Wisconsin:
A bill that would allow the disabled to open tax-free savings accounts to pay for qualified disability expenses passed the U.S. House of Representatives on a vote of 404-17 last week. Despite the bill’s overwhelming bipartisan support, Wisconsin’s own Rep. Gwen Moore and Rep. Mark Pocan, both Democrats, joined just 15 other members in voting against helping those who are disabled make ends meet. The vote was completely ignored by Wisconsin media.

If you had any doubt of how far out in Left Field these two representatives are, now you for sure know.

Right Wisconsin:
According to the Associated Press, the ABLE Act:

Modeled after tax-free college savings accounts, the bill would amend the federal tax code to allow states to establish the program. To qualify, a person would have to be diagnosed by age 26 with a disability that results in “marked and severe functional limitations”; those who are already receiving Social Security disability benefits would also qualify. Families then would be able to set up tax-free accounts at financial institutions, depositing up to $14,000 annually to pay for long-term needs such as education, transportation and health care.

The contributions would be in after-tax dollars but earnings would grow tax-free.

The ABLE accounts would be able to accrue up to $100,000 in savings without the person losing eligibility for government aid such as Social Security; currently, the asset limit is $2,000. Medicaid coverage would continue no matter how much money is deposited in the accounts.

Wisconsin Police Lt. - "Today, I stopped caring..."

Well Said.

Right Wisconsin:

A post from DeForest, Wisconsin police Lt. Daniel Furseth has gone viral in recent days appearing on various police and law enforcement blogs and social media pages. Furseth channels the frustration of police officers who work day in and day out to protect and serve even as many use hyperbole to mischaracterize their actions and motives.

Today, I stopped caring about my fellow man. I stopped caring about my community, my neighbors, and those I serve. I stopped caring today because a once noble profession has become despised, hated, distrusted, and mostly unwanted.

I stopped caring today because parents refuse to teach their kids right from wrong and blame us when they are caught breaking the law. I stopped caring today because parents tell their little kids to be good or “the police will take you away” embedding a fear from year one. Moms hate us in their schools because we frighten them and remind them of the evil that lurks in the world.

They would rather we stay unseen, but close by if needed, but readily available to “fix their kid.” I stopped caring today because we work to keep our streets safe from mayhem in the form of reckless, drunk, high, or speeding drivers, only to be hated for it, yet hated even more because we didn’t catch the drunk before he killed someone they may know.

Nevertheless, we are just another tool used by government to generate “revenue.” I stopped caring today because Liberals hate the police as we carry guns, scare kids, and take away their drugs. We always kill innocent people with unjust violence. We are called bullies for using a Taser during a fight, but are condemned further for not first tasing the guy who pulls a gun on us.

And if we do have to shoot, we are asked “why didn’t you just shoot the gun out of their hand?” And when one of us is killed by the countless attacks that do happen (but are rarely reported in the mainstream media) the haters say, “Its just part of the job.” I stopped caring today because Conservatives hate us as we are “the Government.” We try to take away their guns, freedoms, and liberty at every turn.

We represent a “Police State” where “jackbooted badge-wearing thugs” randomly attack innocent people without cause or concern for constitutional rights. We are Waco, Ruby Ridge, and Rodney King all rolled into one lone police officer stopping to help change an old lady’s tire. I stopped caring today as no one wants us around, but instantly demands answers, results, arrests, when a crime takes place.

If a crime isn’t solved within the allocated 60 minutes it takes CSI on television, we are inept, incompetent, or covering something up. If we do get “lucky” it was just that and everyone with a Facebook account can post wonderful comments of how “they” would solve the case and how “we” are not nearly as clever.

I stopped caring today because a video of a cop six states away, from a department that you never heard of, screws up and forgets his oath of honor, thus firing up an internet lynch-mob of cop haters even though 99% of us work twice as hard not to end up in the news and to still be “the good guys.” We are “militarized” because we wear body armor and kevlar helmets when shots are fired or rocks thrown at us and carry scary looking rifles even though everyone knows that they are easier to shoot and are more accurate than a handgun or a shotgun.

I stopped caring today because the culture of today’s instantly connected youth is only there to take and never give back. To never accept responsibility for ones actions, but to blame everyone else instead of themselves. To ask “what is in it for me?” versus “what can I do for you?”

To idolize gangsters, thugs, sexually promiscuous behavior, and criminals over hard work, dedication, and achievement. To argue that getting stoned should be a right, yet getting a job or an education is a hassle. To steal verus earn. To hate versus help. Yes, I stopped caring today. But tomorrow, I will put my uniform back on and I will care again.

Race Problem in St. Louis

It appears that the St. Louis Police are finally taking a look at a race problem in the St. Louis area.

FOX News:

Bevo Mill residents, whose neighborhood has seen a cumulative 24-percent rise in aggravated assaults over the last three months, say assaults and threats by packs of teenagers against Bosnians have become the norm. One who spoke to FoxNews.com on condition of anonymity due to safety reasons claims he and his family experienced a similar attack and said there is a disturbing pattern of violence against white residents in the area.

"It is common for African-American teens to walk in the middle of the street and block in cars at intersections," said the man, who has lived in the neighborhood for half a decade. "We have been stopped at intersections in Bevo and our car attacked by teens who pound on the car -- laughing at us."

"They only do this to white individuals, who they have learned will generally not respond. There is a pattern here and it is racially motivated," he alleged. "Many of us are arming ourselves in order to avoid becoming the next victim to be beaten to death in the streets."

Just recently another man was killed by a group of teen African Americans who beat him to death with hammers.

It is amazing how the press can latch on to one narrative and make the whole case about race, but turn a blind eye to incidents like this.

CIA Report Puts U.S. in Danger

Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein is hell bent in releasing a report that gets to the dirty part of the work that the CIA did in the years immediately following the attacks on 9/11.  The report is said to illustrate the techniques that were used to interrogate terror suspects.

Many in the Intelligence Community, not just ours, but around the world have warned that this report will be used against the us.  It will put Americans around the globe in danger and will be used by Terror Groups today in recruiting.

So, what is the point in releasing the report?  What is the end game?

Sen. Feinstein says it is to show the things we did and to never let it happen again.  If we have already stopped it and decided that is not how we want to do things, why release the report?

FOX News:
The White House and President Obama are backing the decision to release the report, despite warnings from lawmakers and some inside the administration that it could lead to a backlash against Americans.
This sounds like a partisan political move to me.  Sounds like they don't care much about what this could do to America, our Citizens or our Safety, they just want to release the gory details.

There is even reports of members of the White House's own inner circle not on the same page with this release.

CNN:
In a phone call Friday, Secretary of State John Kerry asked Feinstein to consider the broader implications of the timing of the report's release, said State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki.
"A lot is going on in the world, and he wanted to make sure that foreign policy implications were being appropriately factored into timing," Psaki said. "These include our ongoing efforts against ISIL and the safety of Americans being held hostage around the world."
This seems to be how the Democrats and this White House have worked for the last 6 years.  The end results don't really matter as they long as they get their way.

Don't Understand Why There Isn't More Outrage for Killings

Every time I turn on the news I hear all about how bad the Police are and how racist we all are.  What I don't understand is, where is all this same outrage for the thousands of senseless killings by the thugs on the streets of all of our cities?

I don't really give a crap whether they are black, white, green, yellow or brown!!!

When you hear on the news of kids being shot and killed because they are caught in the crossfire or whatever reason, there should be a full on outrage.  Everyone should demand they be brought to justice.

Nope.  There is no Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder or President Obama.  They only get involved in issues where they can call it a race issue.

The streets of America's Cities are under attack by people who quite frankly don't give a shit about any laws or what color of skin you have.  That is a problem for all of us to have to deal with.  The race issue is just making it harder and harder to actually solve.

Police Officers have a tough job.  Not in a million years would you get me to do that job.  They have to go into these areas where crime is super high and have little support for the people they are helping.  They are out manned and in many cases out armed.  Many of the criminals they take off the street are put right back out there because of the criminal justice system.

Sure there are Police Officers that are over the top and need to be taken off the streets.  I am sure that the rioting and narrative that we saw after the Ferguson debacle really helped with that.  Not.  That was a very poor example that the media and the black leadership tried to use as a race issue.

Watch the news in any big city in America and you will here of the many shootings and murders every day.  In Milwaukee those shootings and murders involve the black community 80% of the time.  That is where the outrage should be.  That is where Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder and President Obama should be.  We have seen too many young kids killed and involved in these events.  Where is the outrage?

When a black male is shot does it matter who shot them?  It should be an outrage period.  It should be an outrage every time someone is killed.  Race should be irrelevant.

Wisconsin Legislature to Take Up "Right to Work" Legislation

Anyone who didn't think this was going to be on the agenda had to be living in fantasy land.  Many other states have moved toward this direction and with Act 10 passing and showing additional support since it's passing, you knew "Right to work" legislation had to come up quickly.

JS Online:

Madison — After years of seeking to change the subject, the top leader in the state Senate made clear Thursday that lawmakers in his house would debate the issue of so-called "right-to-work" legislation within weeks.

Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) told conservative talk radio host Charlie Sykes of WTMJ-AM (620) that he was considering so-called "open shop" legislation to prohibit employers from striking deals with unions to require workers to pay dues. It was a marked shift from the general election rhetoric of Republicans in recent months who have said that the issue is a distraction.
"We can't tiptoe through this session without addressing this. We're not tackling this six months from now. We're not tackling this a year from now...there's no way we avoid this issue. We have to deal with this issue right now," Fitzgerald said.

His comments come as conservative state Rep. Chris Kapenga (R-Delafield) vowed this week to introduce a bill to do that and as a longtime activist in the state with ties to national groups has started an organization to promote the legislation.

Fitzgerald said that he would be willing to have the Senate vote first on the measure. Given that the support for it is even stronger in the state Assembly, that was a powerful statement that support among conservative lawmakers for the idea could be too strong to stop.

Obama Appoints "Bold & the Beautiful" Producer as Ambassador

This is how it works in Politics.  Be a big fundraiser for a politician and land a cushy job.

CNN:

Asked at the daily press briefing what makes "The Bold and The Beautiful" producer Colleen Bell qualified to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Hungary, White House spokesman Josh Earnest didn't exactly have an explanation.

"(She's) somebody who obviously has succeeded in, you know, in the business world," Earnest said.

"And she is somebody that the President has confidence will be able to maintain our relationship with the government and the people of Hungary."

Earnest also denied that Bell's hand in raising millions of dollars for the President's re-election campaign had anything to do with her appointment.

"Well, I can tell you that that's not the reason she was chosen," he said.

Earnest said the reason Bell was nominated for the post was because the President "has complete confidence in her ability to represent the United States in that country."

But not everyone will be satisfied with that answer.

Just hours before, Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, blasted Bell's nomination on the Senate floor.
"We're about to vote on a totally unqualified individual to be ambassador to a nation which is very important to our national security interests," he said.

"I am not against political appointees ... but here we are, a nation that's on the verge of seceded its sovereignty to a neo-fascist dictator getting in bed with Vladimir Putin and we're gonna send the producer of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' as our ambassador," McCain said.

Bell was confirmed to the position Tuesday by a Democrat-led Senate. The chamber also confirmed Noah Mamet, another Democratic fundraiser, as the ambassador to Argentina.

This is not the first diplomatic position the President has selected Bell for. In 2010, Obama appointed Bell to the President's Advisory Committee on the Arts at the Kennedy Center.

Report of Staffer Raping Women Overshadowed by Staffer Writing About Obama Children

I am sure that the media will have a good answer for this.  While they are in a full blown tizzy about a Republican staffer writing on social media about the Obama Children, a Democratic staffer was quietly pleading guilty to sexual assault of women.  Nope not a top story.

Right Wisconsin:

Donny Ray Williams Jr., 37, who served as a staff director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee, pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse, two misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse and one count of misdemeanor threats.

Prosecutors say that on July 22, 2010, Williams invited a female congressional colleague to his Capitol Hill apartment and promised to introduce her to Senate employees. At the house, prosecutors said, Williams spiked a drink with Ambien. The woman, according to court documents, fell into a “deep sleep,” at which point Williams raped her.

A month later, prosecutors said, Williams invited another woman to his home and gave her alcoholic beverages. They said he had sexual contact with her when she was too intoxicated to give her consent.

Williams had been indicted on 10 counts, but prosecutors agreed to dismiss the remaining charges. As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors said they would seek a suspended prison term and five years of supervised probation. Williams also would have to register as a sex offender for 10 years.

Donny Ray Williams Jr.'s tenure in Washington included a stint working for Wisconsin Sen. Herb Kohl. Williams also worked for Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), and panels chaired by Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

News of Williams' guilty plea was overshadowed by the overwhelming coverage of fired Republican staffer Elizabeth Lauten, who posted criticism of President Obama's daughters on Facebook. The Washington Free Beacon documented the media frenzy over Lauten.

Court Ruling Could Have Major Implications on President's Immigration Plan

This Court Ruling could put major restraints on President's Immigration move.

Watchdog.org:

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a ruling that could short-circuit one of President Obama’s executive actions on immigration, a federal court has allowed U.S. tech workers to challenge extensions of foreign laborers’ status here.

The case of Washington Alliance of Technology Workers v. the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has “major implications” for the president’s ability to expand the number of work visas and the terms or durations of those visas, said Dale Wilcox, executive director of the Immigration Reform Law Institute.

The lawsuit was brought by attorney John Miano and IRLI on behalf of several displaced American workers.

“The Obama administration and its congressional allies have repeatedly stated that they believed the president’s executive memos were immune from judicial review in federal court,” Wilcox said.
The decision by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia “demonstrates that this is not true,” Wilcox stated.

Charles Barkley Gets it on Ferguson

Charles Barkley is 100% Right.

FOX News:

"The true story came out from the grand jury testimony," the Hall of Fame forward told radio host Mike Missanelli last week on Philadelphia’s sports radio station The Fanatic.
Noting that several black witnesses corroborated Wilson’s version of events, saying Brown attacked him and went for his gun, Barkley accused the press of using dubious information to inflame passions.
"I can’t believe anything I hear on television anymore,” the former Philadelphia 76er said. “And that’s why I don’t like talking about race issues with the media anymore, because [the media] love this stuff, and lead people to jump to conclusions. The media shouldn’t do that. They never do that when black people kill each other. "
Barkley called those who reacted to the decision by rioting "scumbags."
"There is no excuse for people to be out there burning down people's businesses, burning down police cars," he said.
And unlike protesters who have likened police in minority neighborhoods to an occupying force, Barkley said the black community owes a debt of gratitude to cops.
“[W]e have to be really careful with the cops, because if it wasn’t for the cops we would be living in the Wild, Wild West in our neighborhoods," he said. "We can’t pick out certain incidentals that don’t go our way and act like the cops are all bad.... Do you know how bad some of these neighborhoods would be if it wasn't for the cops?”
Barkley’s words were in sharp contrast to the actions of several current athletes. On Sunday, St. Louis Rams football players Stedman Bailey, Tavon Austin, Jared Cook, Chris Givens and Kenny Britt took the field and raised their hands in homage to the "hands up, don't shoot," rallying cry of Michael Brown supporters.
But Barkley has always spoke his mind, often going against the grain. In 2013, Barkley said he agreed with the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., in another case that inflamed racial tensions.

Milwaukee Alderman Joe Davis Joins Streetcar Referendum Battle

Milwaukee Alderman Joe Davis has joined in the fight to bring the Streetcar to a referendum of the voters.  He has joined Bob Donovan in asking that this go to the voters to decide.

Right Wisconsin:

Clearly, the bulk of the ridership data for the current transit system is from the north and near south side of the City of Milwaukee where there is a heavy population of Latinos and African Americans. Data also shows that the majority of transit ridership uses public transportation for employment purposes, not for tourism or luxury. As a former Milwaukee County Supervisor, I had the pleasure of being mentored on this issue by former County Supervisor James White, and advised by County Supervisor Michael Mayo, the past and present chairs of Milwaukee County’s Transportation, Public Works, and Transit Committee. To continue on this path of hypothetical transit ridership is dangerous and emulates a failed past.

The seasonal trolleys that were supposed to increase transit ridership downtown have not met their much ballyhooed projections, and are always nearly empty when I see them go by. Now we are pursuing an even more expensive system with the intent of tearing up our public infrastructure without a long term maintenance plan (oh I forgot, put it on the taxpayer!). In addition to the long term cost of maintenance, we have no operator selected, there will be vertical easements required, and the taxpayers are asked to foot the bill by creating a TIF district to cover the cost of relocating utilities that the State has required the City to pay. Coupled with unreasonable revenue projections, this can become dangerously expensive, all while other parts of the city continue to deteriorate.

So because the public will potentially have to foot the bill on this risky endeavor, I say let our citizens decide whether to pay the cost of this "Streetcar Named Ego."

Now We Find Out Obama's Action Puts Hiring Illegals Ahead of Americans

News came out this week that one of the quirks in the action that Obama took would make it more beneficial to employers to hire people who fall under the new immigration order than to hire citizens.

Washington Times:

Under the president’s new amnesty, businesses will have a $3,000-per-employee incentive to hire illegal immigrants over native-born workers because of a quirk of Obamacare.
President Obama’s temporary amnesty, which lasts three years, declares up to 5 million illegal immigrants to be lawfully in the country and eligible for work permits, but it still deems them ineligible for public benefits such as buying insurance on Obamacare’s health exchanges.

Under the Affordable Care Act, that means businesses who hire them won’t have to pay a penalty for not providing them health coverage — making them $3,000 more attractive than a similar native-born worker, whom the business by law would have to cover.
I am sure that this will most definitely help the economy and the unemployment situation in the United States.

Milwaukee's Own Ferguson Moment

Milwaukee has a case pending that has strong similarities to the Ferguson Case.  This happened in April and the case is still pending.

JS Online:

The Milwaukee County district attorney's office this week is reviewing the final report compiled by state investigators about the fatal shooting of Dontre Hamilton, who was killed by a Milwaukee police officer at Red Arrow Park.

The district attorney's office received the report from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation on Friday, Chief Deputy District Attorney Kent Lovern said Wednesday.
"We are reviewing that report this week, but I cannot project at this point when a decision will be made," Lovern said in an email.

Hamilton, 31, was shot and killed by a Milwaukee police officer April 30 near the Starbucks at Red Arrow Park during a confrontation in which the officer said Hamilton became combative.

The case has yet to be decided by the Milwaukee DA.

This case could set off another round of Race issues across the Country.  Supporters of Dontre Hamilton have used the Ferguson Case to push their case.  The last couple of nights they have gathered to protest.  Last night the Protests turned more aggressive and  resulted in injury to Police Personnel.

Protesters of Ferguson Decision Pick Wrong Case

The Grand Jury decision not to indict the Police Officer in Ferguson, Missouri has set off a round of riots not only in Ferguson, but across the nation.

The problem is, the people behind the rioting have picked the wrong case to make their stand.  They have picked a case that for anyone that takes 10 minutes to read the evidence and interviews can see was built around false statements to the media and Black Leaders.  The reports that we all heard in the immediate aftermath have been proven to be false and proven false without a shred of doubt.

There have also been additional reports and photos of the Victim that have come out that have changed the narrative to the normal everyday onlooker.  The two men that the Officer stopped were in fact just involved in an altercation at a store for stealing and assault.

This case doesn't support the narrative that so many in the Black Community wish for us to follow.

They have picked the wrong case and are losing support and setting back the cause.

The Below Video gives us all something to think about with the Ferguson Case.

It Takes Time but Obama Gets There

It took almost 24 hours for Obama to show leadership on Ferguson.

Speaking in Chicago where he is to push his Immigration Agenda, Obama finally came out with strong words for the people creating issues in Ferguson.

I guess the Missouri Governor takes time also, as today we finally got a glimpse of the National Guard Troops that were deployed a while back.

Should Milwaukee Have a Street Car?

I had to work really hard to control my laughter when I noticed that the Journal Sentinel ran a poll to see what percentage would ride a street car in Milwaukee if it got built.

I had to see the results.

64% said no and 33% said yes.

Yep, that sounds about right.  However that same 64% will most likely be relied upon to pay for it for the other 33%.

Failed Leadership and Media Make Matters Worse in Ferguson

Shortly after the Verdict was released in Ferguson, Missouri there was no shortage of opinions coming in from so called Leaders and the Media. The problem is that they did little to nothing to help stem the violence that followed.  They did little to nothing to provide direction.

The Democratic Prosecutor in St Louis County has held his position since 1991.  He did an outstanding job of laying out the decision of the Grand Jury.  He not only relayed the decision, but he explained how they came to that decision.

For a list of the Documents and Testimony (Click Here)

The problem that we have is the severe lack of Leadership on behalf of the Local, State and Federal Leaders.  The President decided to go on TV and make an announcement, but did nothing to stem the following violence.  He took less than a minute to call for calm, then spent the rest of the time calling on the Police to change how they do things and to preach to all of us about Race.  This was not leadership.  It was painfully obvious he disagreed with the verdict.  He should have condemned the violence and rioting.  He should have called on leadership in the Black Community to condemn the violence.  Nothing.

As the events unfolded I watched most of the Cable News Channels and found it appalling that some of these channels were literally justifying the violent actions.  Blaming the Grand Jury and the Police.

I just sat there stunned at all of this.  I just kept thinking that it shouldn't matter what the verdict was, what these people are doing is not OK.  It shouldn't be tolerated.  How can anyone sit there and justify this?

The President and some of the Media spent the better part of the night preaching about racism.  Preaching to us that this was all about Race.  I am 100% sure that the Grand Jury knew that this was going to spark criticism and that there verdict was going to lead to violence.  Yet they still did their job and came to the conclusion they did in the face of that threat.

True Leadership doesn't matter about Race.  The reaction of some of these people is not OK.  Violence and Chaos is not OK.  It should be condemned and should never be justified.  That is not a Race issue.

Media Not Helping in Ferguson Missouri

Watching the events unfolding in Ferguson, Missouri on the news and I am just simply amazed at the media coverage.

These so called News Outlets justifying the actions of the protesters.

Are you out of your mind?

What justification can you have for people destroying buildings and propert?  Starting fires and trying to hurt people?

This is property of people who had nothing to do with any of it, and MSNBC is trying to justify it.

What has happen to real news and what has happened to common sense?  It just isn't common anymore!

Ferguson Grand Jury - No Indictment

The Grand Jury had a tough decision to make. With the whole Country watching and waiting on a decision to come down.

I am sure that the weight of all of this really weighed on them.

They rendered their decision of no indictment and you can be sure that they didn't take that decision lightly.

Now we will all watch to see how the decision is taken by not only the people in and around Ferguson, but the whole Country.

Democrats Should Watch for this Name - Jim Webb

Every one on the Democratic side have been pointing towards Hillary Clinton as the Heir Apparent to Obama, but not so fast.

Democrats and Republicans alike should be watching for Democrat Jim Webb.  This guy has formed an exploratory team to challenge for the Democratic Nomination in 2016 and he may just have what is needed to not only take down the Hillary Lovers, but may be the Democrats best shot at saving the White House.

At first look, he will draw a lot of the Moderate Democrats and maybe some Independents.

His first announcements were not necessarily in line with the Democratic establishment.  He blasted the failure of Transparency and Leadership in Washington.  He has moderate maybe even somewhat conservative stances on Gun Rights, Immigration and the Military.

FOX News:

A Marine Corps veteran, Webb, 68, earned two Purple Hearts, the Navy Cross, a Silver Star and two Bronze Stars in Vietnam. He is considered a blunt, independent-minded Democrat who is conservative on issues like gun rights, immigration and the military. But he is cautious on the use of military force overseas and he wields more of a progressive — if not populist — message on prison reform, income equality and reducing poverty.

He received a law degree at Georgetown University after Vietnam and authored several critically acclaimed war novels before serving as secretary of the Navy under President Ronald Reagan in 1987-88, a position he resigned from in protest of budget cuts.
This is someone to watch as things start heating up for the 2016 Presidential run.

Milwaukee StreetCar Should Go to a Referendum

Milwaukee Ald. Bob Donovan believes the citizens of Milwaukee should have a chance to have their voices heard.  He is planning a petition drive that would create a binding referendum to be sent to the citizens so they can have the final say in the StreetCar Debate.

The Mayor has been pushing for the Street Car, even harder now as the cost has skyrocketed to over $110 Million.

Donovan is absolutely right when he asked the Mayor and the Supporters of the project when he said “I ask my colleagues and I ask the mayor, ‘What is wrong with giving the people the chance to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the streetcar project?”'

Why not?

Technology Could Save us Billions and Make for a Better Government

There has been a lot of news lately about Illinois Democratic Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth.  She is a triple-amputee Iraq War veteran and also 8 months pregnant.  Her Doctor has restricted her travels and she has requested to be able to vote via proxy.  Nancy Pelosi has denied that request.

We can get in the whole Nancy Pelosi is an idiot fight some other time.  This made me stop and think about technology and Government.

With all the Technology that we have today, why do our Senators and Representatives need to be in Washington much at all?  This could be a win win for the Voters.

Just think, if our elected leaders could stay in their districts and states and handle a majority of their business from there we could save a lot of money.  We could save money on all the housing and other costs it takes to have them in both Washington and their home states.

They could cast their votes electronically and hold their meetings and other events via teleconferencing.  Businesses do it every day.

It would also keep these leaders here, answering to us and not getting stuck in the Washington World.

It would also make it much more difficult on the lobbyist who have flooded Washington DC.

This could be a win win for the American People and I think we need to look into this more.

However we really don't need to hire the people who set up the Obamacare exchanges to help with this.

Obama Makes His Own Laws

Obama has decided that the Constitution is irrelevant and that the President doesn't need to follow the laws and can change them however they want.

The problem is that this is not how our Democracy is meant to work.

Whether you agree with the changes or not, the bigger question has to be how it is being done.  If you allow the President to circumvent Congress and ignore laws and change laws at their discretion, then you are changing the constitution.

Just because you don't agree with one side or the other you can't allow things like this to happen.  If you do, then you face the shoe being on the other foot and you can just throw out the laws and constitution of the Unite States.

If we allow each President to change and enact laws via Executive Order, then our laws can change on an ongoing basis every time we change Presidents or even worse every time the President decides to change their mind.

What happens when the next President decides that the Affordable Care Act needs changed and just with the stroke of a pen gets rid of parts of it and changes it?  Even worse is when the next President tells all those people that Obama just gave a pass too, that the pass is being taken away and they get deported?

We are a nation of laws and a proper way to do things for a reason.

We have already trampled on the constitution so many times and changed the way our Government works that we are on the verge of complete chaos and we need to put a stop to that immediately.  This is something that both sides should be able to agree on.

Milwaukee Bucks Making Noise in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Bucks have been so bad for so long that when they were sold and the new owners wanted to talk about a new arena it didn't go over so well.

Most people in Milwaukee have been very wary of discussing spending on a new arena for a team that hasn't been able to fill the current arena.  They have been so bad for so long that most people only checked the sports page to see how bad they lost by.

The new owners made waves with the public by bringing in Jason Kidd to be the Head Coach.  They did it in a very nontraditional way that made headlines and not in a good way.

Lets face it, Milwaukee has not been a Basketball town in quite a long time.  Milwaukee revolves around the Packers and the Brewers and on rare occasion when Marquette or UWM have a good year on the hardwood.  But not a NBA Town.

Hell I used to be a season ticket holder for the Bucks many years back when they went to the playoffs and had a decent team.  However when the Bucks started charging me $100 a seat per game and they were consistently putting worse teams on the floor, I bowed out.  The kept raising the price, yet the product got cheaper.

This year started like most years of late, very low expectations.  However there was quite a bit of hype about some of the players.  They also wanted to get a new arena at a very hefty price tag.  Yeah, well good luck with that.

But wait, these guys have been pretty damn exciting to watch.  They are actually out there competing pretty much every night and they are playing hard.  This might be a team I can get behind.  Is NBA Basketball finally coming back to Milwaukee?  Could these new owners be turning it around?  It happened with the Milwaukee Brewers, new owner and new attitude.

Now the season is pretty young, but if what we are seeing from this team is any indication, they may be on to something here.  Did you see that Memphis game?  How about the big win in Triple OT against the Nets?  WOW!!!!

Mayor Tom Barrett Killing New Bucks Arena

Mayor Tom Barrett is so hell bent on getting his Street Car that he is willing to flush the Milwaukee Bucks right out of Milwaukee.

The Mayor has went against a vast majority in Milwaukee and pushed for a 4.6 Mile Street Car.  The expected Street Car was suppose to cost us $64 Million to build.  We have no plan for how we are going to pay for the Maintenance of the system other than rider fees.  Not one person believes that will work.  However now we find out that the cost is more like $113 Million to build.  Almost Double.

The Mayor has decided to move this to the top of his priority list and wants it rammed through and get going ASAP.

At the same time as he is pushing to raise taxes and get the money to build this unwanted Street Car, he is trying to talk out of the other side of his mouth and ask for support to build the Milwaukee Bucks a new arena.

Sorry Mister Mayor, but I don't foresee the citizens supporting $200 Million in taxes going to a Street Car and a new Arena.  I also don't see the State Legislature forking over Millions to the city for the Arena when they have the money to blow on an unwanted Street Car.

So I guess it could very well come down to either the Street Car or a New Arena.  I think the Arena would make more economical sense than a Street Car!

Obama Overstepping His Authority and He Knows It

I have been listening to both sides try and spin what Obama is doing with Immigration Reform. Obama is overstepping on his authority as the President and he knows it.

I hear the spin coming from the Democrats and the media, but the truth is that this is now how our Democracy is suppose to work.

You can bet your last dollar that if this was a Republican President (which might be the case in two years) using executive action to suspend the Affordable Care Act through Executive Order then you would have the Democrats in a full tizzy.

This is just not how it works.

I hope that the GOP acts swiftly and decisively by going straight to the Supreme Court and putting this President in Check.

Mayor Barrett Ready to Force StreetCar Down our Throats

It appears that the Mayor of Milwaukee is ready and willing to throw as much money as it takes to get his beloved streetcar and he doesn't care what happens to the rest of Milwaukee as long as he gets his streetcar. After the Public Service Commission said that it was the City's responsibility to pay for moving utilities for the streetcar, the cost skyrocketed. So Mayor Barrett is now suing the Public Service Commission and has decided that going from $65 Million now to a whopping $114 Million is fine as long as he gets his streetcar. How are we going to pay for it? Raising property taxes he proposes. So here we are in a city that has major issues facing it. Milwaukee Public Schools are in trouble, Crime is out of control, the infrastructure is falling apart, unemployment is super high and the Mayor wants to raise taxes for a streetcar? He has asked for help to pay to fix the streets, he hasn't come up with a plan for the crime, unemployment and school problems. Yet he wants to spend $114 Million on a Streetcar. Forget that nobody even wants the thing except the Mayor, how far would all that money go in helping solving many of the other problems? Lets not forget that the city is also trying to figure out how to build the Bucks a new arena. Who is going to be willing to give the city money if it is blowing all of this on a streetcar? A STREETCAR THAT GOES ALL OF 4.5 MILES!!!!

ObamaCare - They Passed the Bill, Now We See What's In It

Nancy Pelosi famously coined these words "We have to Pass the Bill so you can find out whats in it"

Well Nancy, you guys passed the bill and we sure are finding out what's in it.

This bill has been a debacle from the very beginning and after years it is amazing at how we are still finding out more and more about what was in it.

First of all the Bill passed on a complete party line vote by the Democrats.  They rammed it right through not allowing for any discussion or debate.  Even after the President himself said that we will have time to review the bill before it is passed.  Three days later it was passed.  All of Congress admitted that they didn't have time to read the bill before they voted on it.

We have seen so many problems with the bill as they tried to initially roll it out.  President Obama has had to make unilateral changes to the bill just to get it rolled out.

The President in all the turmoil tried to fight off the Criticism saying:

We all found out that wasn't in the plan.  To the contrary most people lost their current plan and Doctors.

Then we had the colossal failure of the system during the roll out.  After having years to plan for the roll out the system was a complete and utter failure.  We paid millions of dollars and got a system that didn't work.

Obama again had to go to work and make changes to the bill.  More Illegal Changes without going to Congress.

The hits just keep coming.  As now we find out:

Now things are spinning out of Control for the Democrats and the Administration on the Health Care Bill.  As Democrats try to distance themselves and the Bill from Gruber.

Really?

Graeme Zielinski Fails Yet Again

The Democrats in Illinois must have been very desperate when they hired Graeme Zielinski to assist with the Governors Race there.

Graeme Zielinski once again proved his losing ways.  A big shocker on Election day was when the Governorship in Illinois switched to Republican hands.  Then came the irony.  Graeme Zielinski helped in that election.  He lost yet again.

This guy has made a living being over the top and on the losing side of elections.  He was a liability for the Wisconsin Democrats for years as his former Boss, Mike Tate,  protected him at every turn.  Now as it turns out, the Illinois Democrats took a shot on him and found out what we all knew, he is a guaranteed loser.

Journal Sentinel Preaches Civility after Being Anything But Civil

After being gone from the Wisconsin Landscape for a week, I am back and doing a little catch up. It looks like the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is following the lead of the Democrats in asking for Civility and working together to get things done.

I guess that is what happens when you spend the better part of the last several years attacking the GOP and Scott Walker at every turn.  Being the very opposite of Civil and using every tactic that you can dream up to beat Walker and the GOP.  Only to find out that the Wisconsin Voters have seen right through your BS and gave your side a good old fashion butt whipping at the polls.

Now since you couldn't beat them you want them to forget all the nasty attacks, lies, half truths and all around made up stuff that you have thrown at them.  They need to forgive you and be civil.  They need to work with you, because that is what the voters want.

I think what the voters want is for you to go back to reporting the news.  Not reporting what you want us to believe and try and sway our opinion.  They have made it abundantly clear that they believe that Gov. Walker is doing a good job and have again elected him to run the state.  Despite everything that the GAB, Milwaukee John Chisholm, Mayor Tom Barrett, County Exec Chris Abele and the Democratic Party could make up and drum up, the voters elected Walker again.

Now they want Civility?

Where was the civility the last 4 years?  All across the state, the John Doe Investigations, the Hatchet Job by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Democratic Party, Debra Wassermann Schulz?  Didn't hear any of them preaching civility.

Only now, that they have lost even more power in the state and national politics, they want civility.

For it's part, I believe the GOP can be civil.  They can offer to work with the other side.  However the other side now has to show that they mean it.  The GOP doesn't have to have the help of the Left to get things done, but they can allow them to be part of the process.  See if they have really listened to the voters or if this is yet again more lip service.

Chris Larson Drops Bid for Minority Leader in Wisconsin

Good news for Wisconsin.  State Senator Chris Larson has dropped out of the running for Senate Minority Leader in Wisconsin.

This is good news for all of Wisconsin.  He was leader who lead on keeping things as divisive as possible.

His dropping out had everything to do with the likelihood that he was going to be voted out by his peers.

Mayor Barrett & Chief Flynn Have Lost the War on Crime

Violent crime has been a consistent problem in Milwaukee and the Mayor and Police Chief have failed to stem the tide of Violence.  If you question whether the problem is as bad as it seems, you only have to watch the news to understand it is bad.  Every night the top of the news is about the violence and all too many times we are talking about kids getting caught in the cross fire.

The Mayor and Police Chief have completely lost the battle and there are no signs of a light at the end of the tunnel.

The Chief has become a liability.  He has lost the support of the public.  He has lost the support of his own officers.  So who supports him?  The Mayor.  The Mayor is supporting the Chief of Police.  What is the magic that the Mayor and Chief expect to come out of this?  When the leader has no support from his staff and the public how is he suppose to lead?  Who is he suppose to lead?

Regardless of what you might think of the Chief of Police, it is time for a change at the top.  Sometimes you just have to turn the page.

If there is any chance to win the war on crime in Milwaukee, then their has to be changes at the top.  The Mayor and Police Chief have shown they can't win this war.  They have rolled out idea after idea after idea with little to no effect.

We can't change the Mayor at this point.  His election is two years away.  The people of Milwaukee will then have to decide if they feel he has done his job.  I think we can all say that the answer right now is no.  However he has two years to shift that thinking.

So if we can change the Mayor, then we need to change the Chief of Police.  Make that change sooner rather than later.  Fresh ideas and the ability to turn the page on the scandals around this Police Chief.

Chicago Bears More than Suck, Their Embarassing

The Chicago Bears traveled to Lambeau Field last night to take on the Green Bay Parckers.  Somewhere along the way the Bears never showed up.

The Bears have now given up 50 points in back to back games.

The Packer game was close at least until the Packers took possession of the ball for the first time.  After that it was pretty much over.

The Bears just plain and simple are an embarrassment.  You can sit and point a finger at Jay Cutler all day.  I don't think having they could win with a top Quarterback like Brady, Rodgers, Brees or Manning.  There is no blocking and their Defense is just plain horrible.

Lets not take anything away from the Packers.  They played a great game, but when you can play your backups for almost half of the game, the other team is really bad.

Wisconsin Voters Now Turn to 2015 Supreme Court Race

If you thought that you were good to go for two years before any major election hits Wisconsin, you would be wrong.

The 2015 race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court will again be a partisan bitter battle.  Ala the David Prosser Battle.

This time it will pit the Left Leaning Justice Ann Walsh Bradley against a Conservative Challenger not yet determined.

The Left went all in against Justice Prosser and lost that battle.  They now will be fighting to stay relevant in the Supreme Court.  Losing this battle will set up the Wisconsin Supreme Court to be Conservative for quite some time.

The Conservatives appear to be looking toward Milwaukee County for their Challenger.  Judge Rebecca Bradley is drawing a lot of attention.  She was appointed to the bench in 2012 by Gov. Walker and won her seat back against a tough challenge.

JSOnline:

According to complete, unofficial returns, Bradley took 54% of the vote to 46% for Janet Protasiewicz, a veteran prosecutor backed by the area's leading Democrats.
Being able to win in Liberal Milwaukee County will definitely be a bonus in a state wide election.  Especially against an opponent who had the backing of Wisconsin's Democratic Elite.

JSOnline:
Protasiewicz won endorsement from Democrats such as Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, District Attorney John Chisholm, U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, and most leading Democratic legislators, aldermen and county supervisors. She also had the backing of several major labor groups and more than a dozen Milwaukee circuit judges.

Swift Change by DA and GAB In John Doe Investigations

Strange how this all happens on the day of the Election.

Right Wiscosnsin:

MADISON, Wis. – In a court filing that one constitutional law expert calls a “stunning reversal,” the Government Accountability Board appears to concede that the “legal theory” driving the secret John Doe investigation into Wisconsin conservatives is legally “indefensible.”

A joint motion filed by both parties on Election Day in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee stipulates that a court-issued injunction preventing the accountability board and Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm from enforcing a constitutionally suspect section of Wisconsin campaign finance law will remain in force.

The agreement also halts further proceedings before U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa, while Milwaukee-based Citizens for Responsible Government Advocates, a conservative 501(c)(4) group, petitions the state Supreme Court to hear the case.

A constitutional law expert tells Wisconsin Reporter that the GAB and the district attorney have essentially “rolled over” on the merits of CRGA’s case, and that the accountability board and the DA are coming to terms with the fact that their interpretation of state campaign finance law is indefensible.

“Really this is just stunning,” said the legal expert, who asked to remain anonymous due to his proximity to the case. “A couple of months ago this is the legal theory that John Chisholm was defending to the hilt. At this point, the state has rolled over on the issue and agreed that their own conduct must be enjoined.”

Also in the Story there is this:

One attorney close to the case tells Wisconsin Reporter that because plaintiffs have argued that the prosecutors have abused their First Amendment rights, there’s a strong likelihood that CRGA would be successful in its claims against the Government Accountability Board and Chisholm.3

“Given the situation, the way I would read the statutes and the regulations, I don’t think there is any way to say (plaintiffs) don’t have the likelihood of success,” said the source, who also asked not to be identified due to his proximity to the case.

Biggest Vote Getter in Milwaukee?

The Election was quite the night for the GOP in Wisconsin and across the U.S., but who was the biggest vote getter in Milwaukee County?

Mary Burke?  The Democratic Candidate for Governor.  The Chosen one that President Obama, Michelle Obama and Former President Clinton all came to help.

Nope.

How about Susan Happ?  The choice of the Democrats for Attorney General.

Nope.

How about the Minimum Wage Vote?  That has to be the biggest vote getter.  They have been holding rallies with Gwen Moore.  Of course, that is it.

Nope.

Couldn't be Gov. Walker.  Milwaukee County is way too deep a shade of blue for that to happen.  So we know it wasn't him.

Who could it be?

How about Sheriff David Clarke?  Ding, Ding, Ding.  WINNER!!!!

Sheriff Clarke.  The very same man who the Democrats went after with everything they had in the primary.  The man that Mayor Barrett and County Exec Abele spent considerable time and money to defeat in the primary.

Guess what?  He got more votes than Mary Burke, Gov. Walker or even the Minimum Wage vote.

Meet America's Youngest Lawmaker

Saira Blair will become the youngest State Lawmaker in the United States when she takes office in the West Virginia Delegates.

The 18 year old West Virginia University Freshman won election on Tuesday against attorney Layne Diehl, a Democrat.

She turned 18 in July and came in just barely old enough to serve in the West Virginia Delegates.

FOX News:

The young Republican told Fox News on Thursday that she hopes her candidacy helps encourage her conservative contemporaries to get more involved.

"I think they're afraid to be open about their views," Blair told Fox News. "I hope that, you know, being open that it's okay to have the same views as your grandparents, I'm hoping that some more young people will stand for their beliefs."
Her father who is a State Senator might not have known just what he had when his daughter was shadowing him and helping on his campaigns.

Congratulations Saira.  We need more young people to step up and get involved.

Who Will the Next President Be

Now that this Mid-Term election is over and we are just waiting on a few votes yet to come in, the focus now shifts two years down the road to the next Presidential Election.

Who will the Next President Be?

I don't know the Who, but I will say that I believe that the next President will be Republican.  The voters have gotten into a grove of alternating.  They were tired of what the Republicans had done and so they voted anyone but Bush to get Obama Elected the first time.  Now if this election tells us anything, at this point the electorate is saying anyone but Democrats.  This will bode well for the GOP if it doesn't make a major mistake between now and then. They have a fairly decent group of possibilities.  Now we have to see who moves to the forefront.  The Democrats haven't really shown their hand yet.  Other than Hillary Clinton, who early on has received a less than enthusiastic response.

The Republicans have been handed a gift from the Voters and need to take advantage of it.  They need to lay out an agenda and stick to it.  In that agenda they need to look at what are top of mind for the Voters.  Look no further than Wisconsin and they can find that.  Gov. Scott Walker has been able to win 3 elections in 4 years in what has traditionally been a blue state.  He has been able to balance the budget and lower taxes.  He has been able to build a better business climate and improve the jobs picture.  These moves, although not popular with the unions and many public workers, has drawn a thumbs up from the voters.  He has tackled the hard choices and made those decisions even in the face of criticism.  He didn't shy away from them just because he might be recalled.  He did what he thought was right regardless of the political consequences.  He was rewarded for those decisions.  A vast majority agree that even though they don't always agree with his decisions, he is someone who gets things done.

Obama has been the biggest gift that Voters have given to the GOP.  Follow that up with Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.  Keeping them around for the next two years will only help the Republicans to win the Presidency back.

This trio of Democrats have proven time and again that they don't care what the American People want.  They believe that what the American People need is what they tell them they need.

Harry Reid has spent his entire time as Senate Majority Leader protected the President.  How many bills have made it to a vote in the Senate?  How many Budgets have been passed under the Democrats?  Harry Reid's claim to fame is changing the Senate Rules so that the Democrats could take votes without allowing the Minority any say in the matter.

Speaker Vos Going After John Doe and GAB

Wisconsin Speaker Robin Vos spoke out a day after the election that saw Republicans make massive gains in every area of politics.  The gained seats in the House of Representatives, Senate, Governors and also took control of all but 7 states in their Legislatures.

What was on the Speaker's Mind?  Making changes to Wisconsin's John Doe Law and the Government Accountability Board.  Both of them will be on the Legislative Agenda.

Cue Democrats Heads Exploding.

You can bet the Democrats will be crying foul.  They have lived and died by on the politically motivated John Doe Investigations into Gov. Walker.  Never mind that neither of them have been able to come close to finding anything on the Governor.  They have been able to use them to smear the Governor and Republicans across the state.

The problem for the Democrats is, a vast Majority of the Voters in Wisconsin have seen right through the John Doe Investigations.  They have seen them as a political witch hunt by the Left.

Dems Say Voters Want Them to Work Together

Why is it that when the Democrats become the Minority they always claim that what the Voters want is for both parties to work together?

While the Democrats held the Majority they sure didn't feel that way.  As a matter of fact, wasn't it Obama who famously coined the phrase "I Won" in 2009?

I don't think that there is really any question that the Citizens of America wish that their Leaders would work together.  However, the truth of the matter is, the Majority doesn't have to work with the Minority.  The Majority always sets the agenda.  It is up to the Minority to be a part of the process.

Chris Larson Is Part of the Problem

Looks like the State Democrats are ready to work with Gov. walker

Chris Larson Press Release

“However, at the end of the day, the truckloads of dark Tea Party money special interests dumped into negative smear tactics, along with the GOP’s gerrymandered districts, proved to have rigged this election too far in the Republicans’ favor.

“The Wisconsin Republicans’ politics of fear and division has unnecessarily damaged our pride and values as a state, and it will take much effort to repair their extreme actions. To that end, Senate Democrats remain as dedicated as ever to help return balance and fairness to our state.

“Over the past four years under extreme Republican control – the most divisive period in state history – it is clear that Wisconsin’s neighbors and families want their elected representatives working together on common-sense solutions to the issues and problems we all face.
