Brimfield Ohio Police Ticketing Children Without Cause

Brimfield, Ohio Police Chief Oliver has been stopping children in for doing such things as riding their bike with their helmets on and giving them tickets.  WTH?

In my opinion this Police Chief should win an award.  Taking to the streets and monitoring for such behavior and handing out tickets without hesitation is the type of behavior that will have a lasting impact on the youth of that community.

You see what they are doing is not punishing these youth.  They are rewarding them with tickets for such things as Ice Cream, Cookies, Pizza's or Kids Meals.

This type of behavior should be commended.  This is the type of boots on the street action that will truly make a difference not only in the short term, but in the long term for everyone they have contact with.

Hats off to Chief Oliver.  Great Job.

Penzey Called on Hypocrisy

Bill Penzey has been using his catalogs to push his political beliefs on anyone who will listen.

Well now a local blogger by the name of Tom McMahon has taken a look into Penzey and found the following.

Bill Penzey mentioned "places with little diversity" in his firm’s Summer of Love 2014 catalog. But I went through all 64 pages of that catalog and could not find a single photo of an African-American in the whole thing. Sure, I found lots and lots of photos of white folks doing white people stuff, but no African-Americans. Why? Is he afraid they might scare off his lily-white clientele?

Hmmmmm.  This coming from the man who runs Penzey Spices and calls Republicans racist and voters who vote for them racist?  Who is all about diversity?

I Stand Corrected - Not All Cardinal Fans are Unclassy

A few days ago I was talking about the lack of class by Cardinal Fans for their bashing of Brewer Catcher Lucroy during the All Star Game.  They blamed him for the Cardinal Ace and All Star Game Starter getting lit up for 3 runs in the first inning.  They whined that he was calling a bad game and that he was tipping the pitches to the other team.

I still stand by my assertion that those that sought out social media to whine and blast the catcher for their pitcher's struggles are idiots and morons.  Those are the fans that lack class and show the world the Cardinal Faithful in a very bad light.

However, I stand Corrected on the fact that all Cardinal fans are that way.  I have heard from several fans personally and read many more in social media who are trying to save the image of the Cardinal Fan base.  Many agree that Waino as they call him struggled.  They also have placed blame rightfully so on him for his comments about grooving pitches to Jeter.

I stand corrected and hope to see and here more from the Cardinal Fans that are true fans and not blinded by some misguided notion that they are the greatest in the world.  Everyone has bad days and everyone struggles.  You also have to tip your hat to others when they are on and having a good day or good season.

Thank you to the Cardinal Fans who have sought to restore the faith in sportsmanship.

Mary Burke Making it up as she goes

Candidate for Governor of Wisconsin Mary Burke seemed to be making things up as she goes.  The problem is that she seems to forget what she does and many times what she says and does don't match together.  Maybe this is just a case of do as I say not as I do.

She has come out strong against money from outside the state in campaigns.  It should be outlawed and as Governor she would do just that.  However, she has raised over a million dollars from outside the state for he campaign.  The other problem is that the courts have repeated said that you can't ban this money.

She has come out for a raise in the minimum wage to $10.10 in the state of Wisconsin.  I guess that works for her since all of the manufacturing jobs in her families company have been outsourced to China.  That's right China.  The average hourly wage in China is less than $2.

The list just goes on and on.  We will keep updating this as I am sure more will come up in the near future.

Cardinals Fans Show lack of class

St Louis Cardinal fans were left scrambling for an excuse when their ace gave up 3 runs in the first inning of the All Star game.  With all the questions surrounding him being picked as a starter over Kershaw.

So like any classy baseball fan would do, blame someone else.  The Cardinals choice, blame the catcher.  Yep that's right, Milwaukee Brewer Catcher Lucroy was to blame.  He didn't know what he was doing calling pitches.  Forget that Wainwright was struggling.  Forget that Wainwright admitted to throwing meatballs to Jeter.  Oh wait, he changed his mind and said he didn't.

The funniest part about the whole thing is that only Cardinal fans believe their own bs.  Everyone knows it was just the simple fact that Wainwright struggled.  It happens.  But Cardinal fans decided to make matters so much better for their cause by whining and blaming the Brewers.

If it makes Cardinal fans feel any better, Lucroy tried to make up for being such a horrible catcher for Wainwright by going 2-2 at the plate with two doubles.  That's what you expect out of your 8 hitter.

Brewers Bottom of line up in All Star Game

When you look at the starters for the NL in the All Star Game you can't help wonder what the Manager was thinking when he set the batting order.  The Brewers are all at the bottom?  Three key players from the Division Leader and the team with the Second best record in the NL?

Lucroy is batting 8th?  He is 5th in the NL in average and only two other starting NL All Stars are ahead of him.  Yet 8th?  He is 8th in on base percentage for the NL, 5 ahead of him on the NL starting team.  Yet he bats 8th?  He has been batting generally in the 3 spot for the Brewers this year and one of their top producers.

Gomez is even worse.  He is in the 9th spot in the order.  9th?  11th in average for the NL.  14th in on base percentage.  8th in Slugging and 7th in OPS.  He also has more stolen bases than any other starter on the team.  So lets put him 9th in the order.

Ramirez is batting 6th.  That is about the only one that makes any sense.

Now lets get to the starting Pitcher for the NL tonight.  Wainright?  Yeah he is having a really good year, but how about Kershaw?  They argue that he was on the DL and hasn't pitched as many games.  OK.  So?  Kershaw has pitched in 14 games, has an 11-2 record with a 1.78 era.  Also has a no hit/no walk game this year and also pitched 41 consecutive scoreless innings this year.  How about Wainright?  Pitched in 19 games and is 12-4 with a 1.83 era.  Never had a no hitter however did pitch his first career 1 hit game earlier this year.  He also had a 25 inning scoreless streak earlier in the year.

I guess it goes to show you that there are politics in every level of sports.  The Cardinals skipper is also the skipper for the NL All Stars.  If the Cardinal skipper hadn't named his pitcher the starter, the Cardinals wouldn't have a starter on the field after Molina went out with an injury.

Obama, Holder and the Race Card

You hear it said repeatedly, people are against the President because he is black, or, people are against the Attorney General because he is black.

The left in particular have been throwing out the race card for years.  They blamed race on the slow response by President Bush to the Katrina disaster.  Now every time someone disagrees or criticizes the President it is because of race.  I haven't heard it said that the slow response to the Border Crises is because they are Hispanic.  Race just doesn't play a part.

It is by design.  Democrats need a racial divide in this country.  They live and die politically based on the racial divide and the class divide.  They have to keep the race issue alive and the upper class versus the middle and lower class.  That is how they win elections.

The problem with that is that it has been a huge set back for race relations.  They have made the country more and more divided over the years.  Pitting white vs black and rich vs poor.  Race relations have taken a big hit over the last decade.

Are there racist people out there?  Absolutely.  However the truth is, it is on both sides of the issue.  Racial discrimination is a two way street.  You can't have politicians out there making every issue about race.  The unfortunate part is that both sides of the issue like to push it to the extreme.

Having the first Black President was suppose to be a landmark for the United States.  However it has turned into a major race issue.  Not because there are some out there that are racist, but because politicians have used it to push a political agenda.  They have created a false narrative.  People disagree with and take issue with the President and Attorney General on policy, not on race.

There are plenty of people from all races that support both parties on the political spectrum.  Race and Gender and Class should not be a part of the equation.  Until we take it out of the conversation it will never truly go away.

Obamacare Could be on Life Support Soon

Obama's signature piece of legislation and rally cry for the Democrats could slowly be dying.  Thank Obama himself and the Democrats for the death and the high cost that we taxpayers will have paid for a program that may or may not survive.

“Obviously we didn’t do a good enough job in terms of how we crafted the law,” Obama told NBC’s Chuck Todd in November 2013

The problem's with the law and how is has been implemented were glaring.  Obama and the Democrats refused to work with or negotiate with Republicans to fix the law.  So now comes the problem with how Obamacare is rolled out.

Remember Nancy Pelosi's famous  “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it,” remarks during the push to pass the law.  Well it passed with no Republican support.  We found out what was in it and it wasn't good.  So instead of working with Congress and the Republicans, Obama took it upon himself.

“I’ve got a pen, and I’ve got a phone,” Obama said in January of this year.

So he has rewritten parts of the law 23 times without approval of Congress.

Now here we go again.  Parts of the law rewritten by Obama are being challenged in Court.  They are being challenged for legality since they were not approved by Congress and only Congress can pass or change laws, not the President.  If found to be illegal it could mean the slow death of the law.

The President's Justice Department has been proven wrong with it's legal opinions 13 times unanimously by the High Court.  Even the President's own picks for the court have voted against him.

What is wrong with Wisconsin's Voter ID Law?

The left is fighting it tooth and nail and now the word is that Eric Holder the US Attorney General is going to fight it as well.

I have heard all the talk about it being unfair to people.  How is it unfair?

You go in to vote and show an ID to prove that you are who you say you are?  What is so unfair about it?  Have to show an ID when buying alcohol, have to show an ID at the bank, have to show an ID to get back in the Country, have to have an ID to drive a vehicle, many kids have to have an ID at school to get lunches, is all of that unfair?

They claim that it is an attempt by the right to cut back on votes for the left.  WTF?!  How can that be?  They even put in provisions to make it easier to get an ID.

People will be afraid to go to the polls.  Again, WTF?!  Why would they be afraid?  The only people afraid would be if you have a warrant out for you or if you are illegally in the Country or if you are not who you say you are.  Those are all legitimate reasons to be afraid and are also the exact same reason that voter ID is important.

Please someone tell me how VOTER ID is BAD!!!

Obama Administration Stands behind Claim of Most Transparent in History

Are you kidding me?

Just when you think that they can't come up with anything more absurd that previous comments they go and prove you wrong.

This isn't even a biased debate.  Journalist are even complaining and they love the O-man.

I guess if you call giving false information and information that information has been lost or destroyed transparent.  If you want to call being transparent the fact that when you are lying to us all it is so blatantly obvious.
