Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi

It has been over a year and a half since the attacks on our Diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.  We are finally getting together an Investigative Committee to determine what happened?  Why did it take so long? Why do we not already understand what happened?

Quite honestly I blame both the Democrats and the Republicans.  The Republicans put together all these inquiries into it, but really didn't dig in and go after the answers.  They skirted around it and made a lot of accusations and raised many questions, but didn't go full bore into this to get answers.  Truly a majority of the blame has to lye at the feet of the Democrats.  They put politics ahead of the American People.  In the minds of many Democrats (Hillary Clinton included) what difference does it make.

The difference it makes is pretty simple for anyone with an ounce of morals.  I believe that there were several mistakes made that led up to this attack.  I think we had the warning signs and could have prevented or in the very least given everyone a fighting chance.  We failed to do so.  Instead of owning up to those mistakes the decision makers in this case chose to try and hide those facts and/or defend their decisions.

Then we had the attack and the decisions that needed to be made during the attack.  Again, I believe that we made many bad decisions.  We failed to send help.  I believe that we should have done everything in our power to help those in need, even if by the time we got there it was over.  At the very least we could have said we tried.  Once again, instead of owning up to those mistakes and apologizing to the families, we tried to cover them up and justify them.

Now we come to the aftermath of the whole event.  We have decided to compound those many mistakes with a continuing stonewalling of the truth.  Instead of owning up to the many mistakes the powers to be have decided to lie, cover up and politicize the whole thing.

This is where the Democrats should be ashamed of themselves.  This should be a simple choice for them to make.  Go after the truth and learn from the mistakes that were made.  There should be no cover left for those that chose to put Politics and their own Careers over the lives of four Americans.

I am glad that there will finally be an investigation with some authority to get to the truth.  At this point, I think that everyone involved in the event that tried to cover and conceal it should now be brought to bear for the decisions they made.  This is no longer an own up to your mistakes kind of thing.  Every person that was involved in the events and chose to help cover for the decision makers needs to be held accountable to the fullest extent possible.

Sequester to cost us 100s of Thousands of Jobs!!!

Obama and the White House warned us.  They told us if Sequester goes through it will put 100s of Thousands of jobs in jeopardy.  It was doomsday. We must stop this at all cost.

That was March of 2013.  Now a Government Report has come out and OH MY!!!!! Sequester has cost us a job.  That's it, One job.

Cutting over $85 Billion Dollars from the budget cost us only One (1) Job.

Guess there goes the Credibility of the White House.  Wait, was there really any?

Sen. Harry Reid said in July of 2013 that Sequester had already cost us over 1 million jobs.  OH NO!!!! Wait, we only lost 1 single job.

There goes Harry's Credibility.

To be fair, Several Republicans also came out with concern over job losses.  The only upside for them was that they were talking about thousands of jobs.  Still, that didn't happen.

I know, now we are going to get into how many jobs got their hours cut and how we cut back on hiring.  Yes that is all probably true.  But do you really think that we need 100s of thousands of new government jobs?

Milwaukee DA and John Doe Probe Disregarded the Law

Federal Judge Rudolph Randa has come down hard on all of those involved in the John Doe investigation being spearheaded by Milwaukee DA.

The Milwaukee DA has been working for years to try and find some dirt on Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and those that support him.  His tactics have been what nightmares are made of.  Instead of having a crime and finding the evidence to prove it, he and his team have been raiding peoples homes, arresting people and holding them in jail and confiscating peoples personal belongings.  All in the hopes that he will find something that will give him a case.

He has overstepped the law and trampled on peoples civil rights.  Finally someone has stepped in and put a stop to it.  Of course they have appealed the decision and we will have to wait for that hearing.  Hopefully when that decision comes down and they uphold Judge Randa's decision that the legal powers to be go after all involved and hold them accountable.

Obama White House "Most Transparent in History"

No matter what your politics are, one thing is crystal clear, the Obama White House has been the most non-transparent and sleazy Administration in recent history.

If Obama would have been the President during the Nixon time frame he would already have been impeached.  He has brought Chicago Style politics to the national stage.

It still is amazing how many from the left still support this man and his administration.  Benghazi alone should make everyone cringe.  Covering up mistakes made just to win an election?  Everyone makes mistakes and bad things happen, but to lie and cover up things just so you can win an election should send alarm bells off in every American.

However bad Benghazi is, this Administration just keeps the hits coming.  The IRS scandal.  Again, how any American could possibly think targeting people based off of their beliefs is OK blows me away.  When this happens the other way I am sure it wont be OK then, but remember, you set the precedent.

The continual stonewalling, covering up and obstruction by this White House proves that Transparency most definitely is not something that they will be known for.  America has become a lot less of a Dream than it used to be.

Federal Judge Halts Milwaukee DA's John Doe Investigation

Multiple news sources included Today's TMJ4 are reporting -

U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa made the decision Tuesday. The Wisconsin State Journal says Randa has ordered prosecutors to "cease all activities" related to the investigation.
It's about time that this partisan witch hunt and waste of taxpayer money is stopped.

Zero Tolerance in Schools Has taken away Common Sense

Schools and School Boards in large part have opted for Zero Tolerance policies.  These policies make it black and white what happens in any event.  No decisions to be made, no common sense to be used.

The problem is, that the people who we pay to teach our kids are using the policies without the slightest common sense.  That have taken the Common out of Common Sense.  It isn't so common anymore.  On a regular bases you read about it in the paper, hear about it in the news, Schools utilizing the Zero Tolerance in the craziest of ways.  3-4 and 5 year olds being suspended from school for kissing a girl.  That is sexual harassment or assault based on the zero tolerance.  The kindergartner for playing cowboys and indians, kicked out because pretending to have a gun zero tolerance.

Those are the ones that make the news, but it goes way deeper than that.  In our school district they have a Zero Tolerance for fighting.  Great idea.  I agree. If you are fighting you are suspended.  However then they take it the extra step.  Not only are you suspended, you are given a disorderly conduct ticket by the police and it is Zero Tolerance.  So if you are walking down the hall and someone jumps on you and tackles you, guess what? Yep that's right, Zero Tolerance.  You get the same treatment as the kid that jumped you.  Where does that make any sense to anyone?  It doesn't. Our educators just don't want to have to use Common Sense.

I agree that Teachers have to deal with a lot of crazy stuff in schools.  I am pretty sure that I couldn't do what they do.  School Administrators have to be able to use some common sense in these decisions.

I have told my kids repeatedly how times have changed so much since I was in School.  Very rarely did the police ever get called to our school to deal with the students.  The principal and the parents pretty much took care of any problems that occurred.  Once you get to Middle School now the principal isn't even involved and a police officer is on duty at the school all day.  The assistant principals and police officers deal with the kids.  In our school it isn't even about building a relationship with the students, it is about catching them and busting them.  Everything goes to the legal system.

We really need to take a step back.  We can't just blame the schools, although they have a lot to do with it, the parents also need to shoulder some of the responsibility.  We can't be our children's best friend, we have to be the disciplinarian, guidance counselor, teacher and friend.

Supreme Court OK's Prayer at Meetings

The Supreme Court got it right when they voted that an opening prayer at meetings does not violate the Constitution.

The Liberal Judges were against it.  Why is there an attack on Prayer? How does asking for guidance become a violation of the Constitution?

They aren't forcing everyone to participate, they are pushing their beliefs, they are asking for guidance to make the right decisions in the meetings.  Pretty simple.  It is amazing to me how the same people who are against prayer, crosses in civic buildings, can be the same ones who are out there preaching to us about inclusion and tolerance.  If you don't like something that other people are doing, don't do it.  If a prayer at a meeting isn't your cup of tea, don't be involved in the prayer.  Same thing with the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance.  Lastly if these people were so against God being involved in the Government, don't take our money because it all says "In God We Trust"
