Mary Burke - FALSE

Mary Burke Continues to draw False's with her claims: (Source: Politifact Wisconsin)

"Job creation has gotten worse each year that Scott Walker has been governor."

New jobs numbers are in, and Wisconsin has "fallen to dead last in Midwest job growth."

Says Scott Walker's jobs agency gives financial incentives that lead "Wisconsin companies to look at shipping jobs elsewhere. ... A company got $4.6 million in taxpayer money and actually reduced its jobs by 300 people."

Ads for Governor Driving me Crazy

As the race for Governor winds down to election day we are being inundated with ads on the TV and Radio.

I don't so much mind the Ads themselves, it is the content that is utterly ridiculous.

I can't believe how you can, as a candidate for Governor, put out an Ad that is so blatantly false and misleading.

I see these Ads and know that what is being said is so false and misleading that I can't believe that it is legal.  What is even worse, is that the Candidate knows it is false and they put it out there anyway.

We wonder why our Government is so full of crooks and criminals.  They lie and make up stuff just to get elected and then we somehow think that they are going to be good for us?

Obama, Failed Presidency

For the last 5 years the Democrats have backed Obama wholly, with little question about his politics or stances on things.

The demonized the Republicans and anyone else who dared to question him.  The blasted Mitt Romney for his stances, called others racist for disagreeing with him.

Now here we sit.  Both of his former Defense Secretaries are calling him out. He has been benched by his own party for the midterm elections.  Hell, even former President Jimmy Carter is calling him out.

Look at all the issues around the globe today.  Are they all Obama's fault? Probably not, but did his policies make many of these problems worse?  Absolutely.

The Democrats are now pushing back on the President for some of these.  But the truth is, when a party puts politics in front of everything else this is what happens.  Be it Democrat or Republican.

Had the Democrats called him out on some of these earlier we may not be in such bad shape.

There has been a lot said about how the Republican Party is fractured and not in lockstep with each other.  That is a very good thing.  That is good that there are many in the Party that don't just agree because it is a Republican.  They are not locked into the Politics, but they fight for what they believe and not what their party tells them to believe.

This midterm election and the 2016 election will be major decisions by the voters in where the United States ends up.  The path that we are currently on is not sustainable.  We have lost much of the power we had around the world and our economy is nothing like what it used to be.  We have taken a drastic turn off course and these next two elections will be instrumental in putting us back on course or moving us further down the path we are on.

Obama has been disengaged with events for several years and we have seen events around the globe and right here at home blow up.  We now appear to be governing based on the current crisis instead of preventing them from happening.

Capitol Protestor In the News Again

Jeremy Ryan gained his so called 15 minutes of fame during the Capitol Protests during the ACT 10 protests in Madison.  He was arrested for pouring beer on Lawmakers.

At the time he was haled as a hero by many on the left through social media.  They blamed the victims for driving him to do it.

Well now Jeremy Ryan is in trouble again.  This time on Domestic Abuse Charges.

How about now?  Did the Victim drive him to do it?

That is the problem today.  It is OK to do bad things to people we disagree with.  Instead of people standing up and just saying NO.  It is not OK no matter what.  This holds people accountable and stops the madness.

This guy has a history of doing bad things.  Maybe if he would have been held accountable for assaulting the Lawmakers and people from both sides called him out on it then he wouldn't think that kind of behavior is OK.

This guy deserves to go to jail and be held accountable for his obvious lack of self control.

Plagiarism OK for Mary Burke but don't Use the Word TREK

Right Wisconsin reports that although Mary Burke has now been busted once for stealing other people's work and claiming it to be her own, but that her family business while she worked there fought to keep anyone from being allowed to have Trek in their name or use the word period.

Right Wisconsin:

These Are Just 10 of More Than 200 Actions Filed By Trek Bicycle Corporation While Mary Burke Was Employed Or On The Board Of Directors:

  • The Sunday School Board Of The Southern Baptist Convention Filed A Trademark For “Kidtrek” To Provide “Information In The Field Of Religion Via A Global Computer Network Website”. (US Patent and Trademark Office, Opposition Number 91116246, Filed 12/9/99)
  • High Adventure Treks For Dads & Daughters Was A Group That Wanted To “Promote Interaction Between Dads And Daughters Through The Organization Of Outdoor Adventure”. (US Patent and Trademark Office, Opposition Number 91165328, Filed 5/25/05)
  • Trek Filed Opposition Against The Boy Scouts Of America. They filed a trademark for a image “Trek Safely”, that was designed for printed materials with safety procedures for outdoor activities. (US Patent and Trademark Office, Opposition Number 75982874, Filed 2/25/03)

  • The University Of Oregon Filed For A Trademark “Career Trek” That Was For “Computer Programs For Use By Teachers In Teaching Children”. The programs were primarily for children at the elementary and middle school level. (US Patent and Trademark Office, Opposition Number 91164182, Filed 2/11/05)

  • Sub Sea Systems, Inc. Wanted To Use An Image For Their Underwater Walking Equipment Called “Sea Trek”. (US Patent and Trademark Office, Opposition Number 91119507, File)
Strangely, the estate of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry appears to have been spared the “Wrath of Trek.” So, sometimes, it appears, proprietary words are a big deal. Perhaps the next embarrassing campaign moment for Burke could be for a reporter to ask her to define proprietary. Okay, definitely piling on.

Government Accountability Board Wants Help Defending Itself

It looks like the GAB has found itself in a bit of a mess.

They were walking in lockstep with Milwaukee Prosecutor John Chisholm while he was running his John Doe Investigation.  They were happy to be a part of the now shut down investigation.

But now that at least one victim of the John Doe Probe is fighting back and suing them, the GAB is finding itself without help.

Channel3000.com reports:

MADISON, Wis. -
State Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen won't defend Wisconsin elections officials against a new lawsuit connected to a secret probe of Gov. Scott Walker.
On Thursday, a conservative Milwaukee County group sued the Government Accountability Board and prosecutors involved in the John Doe probe, arguing it has a constitutional right to collaborate with candidates.

The prosecutors are investigating whether Walker and the Wisconsin Club for Growth and other conservative organizations illegally coordinated.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Dan Lennington, the state's assistant deputy attorney general, wrote in a letter Friday to Board director Kevin Kennedy that state law doesn't prohibit coordination between a candidate and a group running so-called political "issue ads."
The board asked Walker's office to appoint a special counsel. The governor's office is reviewing the request.
