Indictment of Perry an Abuse of Power

So Democrats have gone after Rick Perry for his use of the veto?  They claim it is an abuse of power?

Rick Perry tried to get a Democratic Prosecutor to resign after she was arrested for drunk driving.  She not only was 3 times the legal limit, she verbally abused the officers, tried to use her power to get out of it and was so disorderly that they had to put her in a spit mask.  So why shouldn't she have resigned her position?

He told her that if she didn't resign that he was going to veto funding for the unit that she led.  She refused and he did.  So tell me again how this is abuse of power?

So in response the Democrats used their position to file felony charges against the Governor for using his veto?  That isn't abuse of power?

The Governor is given the authority to use the veto.  There is no stipulation on how or when he can veto something.  So if the Governor decided to veto the funding for a department or unit that he feels is not managed properly that is all legal.  Again, how is that abuse of power?

The Democrats are feeling pretty pleased with themselves over this move.  Yet they are very unhappy at the fact that the same type of move could be used on their President.  He has overstepped the line in the true meaning on multiple occasions.  Yet the same people who would like for Perry to be convicted of using a legal veto find it inconceivable that you would bring charges against the President.

Paying people to Vote? WTF

What is seriously wrong in America when the Los Angeles Government is contemplating offering people money to vote?

Are you serious?

If people have no interest in who their leaders are then so be it.  That falls on them.  We should not use tax money to try and entice people to get out and vote.

Lucroy for MVP

Jonathan Lucroy might have gotten the snub from the nasty Cardinal fans, but many of the people in the know in MLB are taking a close look at the Milwaukee Brewer Catcher in conversations for the National League MVP.

Rightfully so.  Lucroy has played at a whole new level this year on a team that has lead one of if not the toughest division in baseball.

Lucroy, Brewers: Milwaukee has led the NL Central continuously since tying the Pirates for the lead on April 6, and Lucroy has been the biggest reason why. He does a great job handling the pitching staff -- and you thought Glen Hansard was lead singer of The Frames? -- while throwing out 25.3 percent of runners and compiling a 1.5 defensive WAR, second to Russell Martin among NL catchers. Heading into Tuesday's action, Lucroy is hitting .303 and projects to rack up 17 homers and 75 RBIs. Nothing about that screams MVP, but it's the same kind of package that Molina put together in finishing fourth behind Buster Posey in 2013 and third behind Andrew McCutchen last year.

Anyone that follows Brewer baseball knows that this team has some great players on it.  Many of these guys get little notice outside of Milwaukee and the division because of the small market.  However players like Lucroy and Gomez have started to garner that kind of notoriety.  It also really helps when you are winning games like the Brewer's are doing this year.

Everyone in baseball except the St. Louis Cardinals have taken notice of the Brewer Catcher.  He not only can hold his own behind the plate, he has become a powerhouse at the plate.

As long as Wainwrights meltdown in the All Star game doesn't hurt the Brewer Catcher he should have the lead in the MVP balloting.  He just couldn't help the All Star Starting Pitcher, but then again he had no problem working with Kershaw.

Mary Burke Slamming Walker on Midwest Job Growth

Mary Burke likes to go out in front of the TV Cameras and trash the Wisconsin Economy and the Job numbers for Wisconsin.

Walker did promise 250,000 jobs and has fallen short on that promise.  However the claims by the Democratic Challenger are so blatantly negative that she is trying to make people not see the truth.

A new report out using the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that Wisconsin is not dead last in job creation.  Illinois actually is.  We aren't even second to last, or third to last.  Wisconsin actually does better than 5 other states in the Midwest.

But if you listen to Mary Burke, we just plain suck here in Wisconsin.  Forget that a majority of Wisconsinites have repeated stated in poll after poll that they feel the state is heading in the right direction.  Mary Burke wants you to side with the minority and feel like we are in this horrible doom and gloom.

Wisconsin actually added more jobs than 24 other states so far in 2014 in the private sector.  So dead last?

Mary Burke is your typical politician trying to sell you on the idea that things are much worse than you think and that they are the only one in the world who can fix them.  Unfortunately for her, the majority of Wisconsinites already know the truth.

Will the Murder of American Journalist Change the War on Terror?

News of the Murder of American Journalist James Foley has been hitting the World over the last 24 hours.  Is this a game changer for the war against IS?

Strangely many other Countries are taking this as more of a game changer than the U.S.

Obama who doesn't seem to be reacting with any sense of urgency while other countries have called for emergency meetings with their leadership and to take a closer look at IS.

This should be a wake call for the U.S. along with the message and threat of IS against all Americans abroad.

Obama sold the uninformed American electorate the idea that the war on terror was over and that we needed to abandon Iraq and Afghanistan as quickly as possible.  We also needed to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay.   He released some of the most dangerous terrorist back onto the battlefield.  He was going to win the war on terror by apologizing for us Americans.

So how has that all worked out?  Here we sit in a world that is much more dangerous than when he was first elected.  He can no longer blame Bush and us mean Americans.  This is all on him and his policies.  He has not made the world anything more than a more dangerous place.

The next President will have to spend years and tons of money that we don't have to try and give us a safer place to live.

We have only ourselves to blame.  The majority of Americans have followed blindly and let this happen.  Believing that rhetoric and the misinformation.

We now face a more aggressive foe in an ever changing array of dangers to the freedom Americans have died protecting around the world.  Russia has showed it's willingness to use military might to push it's way of life on neighbors.  We were warned of this and did nothing.  We believed Obama and criticized those who saw it coming.  We have failed to support our biggest friend and ally in the Middle East while it has endured attack after attack by Terrorist.  We allowed Terrorist to grow in Syria and take over large portions of Iraq.  Again we were warned but did nothing.  We closed our eyes and pretended it wasn't happening.

Now we are in a position of hoping that other countries are willing to do what our leadership has failed and refuses to do, take it to these enemies and stop them before they get any bigger or more powerful.

Mayor Barrett Caught in a Lie

So remember during the last big outbreak of shootings in Milwaukee?  Mayor Barrett came up with the novel idea of adding more patrols to the streets in the Month of August.

Well guess what?  That didn't happen.

Bob Donovan, who is a candidate for Mayor, called out the Mayor on this and Chief Flynn sprung into action.  He first tried to defend the Mayor with a lot of double talk.  Then it was reported last night by the Police Union that they are now asking for officers to volunteer to pick up extra patrols.

So here we are on the 20th day of August, 11 days remaining and they are just now looking to add the patrols?!

Well I guess Donovan was 100% right.  Barrett was just giving us all lip service and doesn't really take the crime problem in the city of Milwaukee serious.  He had no plans to add patrols.  Had it not been for Bob Donovan there would still be nothing going on.

It is definitely a time for change in the leadership in the city of Milwaukee.  The Mayor needs to go and the Chief of Police needs to go.  Maybe the Democrats who spent so much money on the push to get rid of Sheriff Clarke should pony up some of that money to get new leadership in the City.

Here Come the Feds to Ferguson Missouri

Well now we will see things change in Ferguson Missouri.  Here comes the Attorney General and his team from Washington.

Obama is now inserting himself into the situation in Missouri.  The reports have shown on multiple occasions that the violence in Ferguson has been coming from outside the community.

The whole issue appears to be more driven by the media more so than the actual events themselves.  There is so much information that is coming out that doesn't seem to add up.  The investigation isn't even completed and everyone is jumping to conclusions.

I think that we need to wait and see how the whole thing plays out before judging.

Indictment of Texas Governor Amazing in todays Politics

The indictment by a Grand Jury of Texas Governor Rick Perry for abuse of power is amazing considering today's political environment.  They claim that his use of the veto is abuse of power?

Consider the things that we see going on in politics today and you just have to wonder how in the heck that can be considered abuse of power.  Obama has abused his power on so many occasions that we have actually lost track.  The Supreme court has even weighed in multiple times to say that he abused his power.  Yet even the hint of legal action or impeachment sends the Democrats kicking and screaming and the Media in an all out frenzy.

Yet you have the Governor of Texas use the power that he has as the Governor veto funding and that is considered abuse of power and the Governor will be taken to criminal court?

This will be interesting to watch.

Sheriff Clarke Holds off onslaught of Big Money

It is nice to see that the voters of Milwaukee County held off the big money that flowed in from around the country to try and defeat Sheriff David Clarke.

The Voters had their voices heard and Clarke won 52%-48%.  Turnout for the election was amazing across the county.  The Big Money that poured in from Bloomberg and many believe Chris Able (Milwaukee County Exec) seemed to fuel the fire on both sides.  It most likely helped to increase voter turnout for Clarke's competitor, but it also fired up the voters on behalf of Clarke.  Some areas that Clarke won had 400% increases in turnout from the last time Clarke ran.  Clarke picked up 7 municipalities that he lost in previously.

Not only did Sheriff Clarke survive the onslaught of big money from the Left.  Not only did the Left lose this battle that they poured in so many resources.  Sheriff Clarke emerged as a bigger political threat to the left than he previously was.  He became a bigger name across the state and in the National Political circles.  It is widely believed that he may run for Mayor and the Left has really increased his political capital and fundraising capabilities with their latest stunt.
