I read a post yesterday from someone who is an activist. They lean pretty far from the left so it didn't really surprise me to read the post, but it really didn't make sense. Usually they have common sense and just pretty much follow along with the talking points of the left, but this time it was more of just a rant.
The topic was about the parking in downtown Milwaukee. Lets all face it, parking in Milwaukee sucks. It is expensive and there really isn't a lot of it that is convenient to where anyone is going. However this rant was about how expensive it is and the fact that the company that runs the parking was raising the prices and taking away parking during the upcoming Summerfest.
OK. So you are going to have to pay more and they are going to limit parking for you during the festival. Got it. It sucks. The company really isn't looking out for the people who use the parking year round and instead catering to the festival. Got it. It sucks.
Then came the zinger....."thanks Scott Walker"
What does the Gov Walker have to do with this? Does he own the company? No. Is he the Mayor of Milwaukee? No. Does he run the festival? No. Is he the County Executive of Milwaukee County? No
So where does any of this fall on Scott Walker's shoulders?
Maybe you should pull up your big girl and boy panties and quit being partisan. Go after the powers to be that can change all of this. Mayor Barrett, County Exec Abele, The Company that runs parking. How about doing something that makes sense.
Forget about it. It's Scott Walker's fault or just maybe it was that dang George Bush who did this.

Pelosi Wins Back Speaker of the House?
Seriously, who in their right mind would want her leading again?
The chances of the Democrats winning back the house in this election are very very very remote, but even if they did, seriously Nancy Pelosi again?
Now to switch gears a little, this weekend I was flipping through some channels and landed on an interview with Harry Reid. I thought to myself, hmmm wonder what he has to say and what is going on. Well after watching it for a few minutes I am still asking myself the same question. I really am not sure what the interview was about because the interviewer seemed a bit perplexed himself and Reid seemed to just be rambling on and on about Republicans. About the only thing I understood from the whole thing was Harry Reid said he would allow for a vote on the Keystone Pipeline. I was kind of confused because I thought he had prevented that vote on multiple occasions.
Anyways, back to my point. Nancy Pelosi? Really? There are so many other Democrats that would do a much better job than her.
