Mary Burke Privately to Meet with Obama

It seems that Politicians think that we are plain idiots.

Mary Burke who is running for Governor of Wisconsin on the Democratic ticket doesn't quite understand that Obama has lost the confidence of pretty much the whole country.  That anyone associated with him is considered guilty by association.

She thinks that if she just meets with him out of the public eye then it really never happened.

Ummm, No that isn't how it works.

Just because you are meeting with Obama in secret doesn't shield you from the association.

I just don't understand why some people think that we are all that brain dead.

Right Wisconsin Reports:
According to Scott Bauer of the AP, Mary Burke will not speak at the Milwaukee Laborfest on Monday and will meet with President Obama privately.
Simply put, this is stunning. Monday's visit will be President Obama's second visit to Wisconsin in 2014 and Mary Burke will have managed to avoid appearing in public with the Obama twice now.

In January, Mary Burke took a phone call from President Obama while she campaigned on the Western side of the state. This time, Mary Burke is going to meet with the President - but in private and presumably away from cameras.

Potowatamie Breaks Compact with State

The Potawatomi tribe has decided to withhold $25 million in payments to the state of Wisconsin.

They are doing this to force Goverbor Walkers hand on the decision to allow another Casino to be built in Kenosha by a competing tribe.

This type of behavior is exactly why there should be competition in this market for casinos.

Walker should suspend their license immediately pending payment and then force renegotiation of their current compact due to their illegal act of withholding payment.

New Infrormation Proves IRS Cover Up

The President and the Democrats have contended all along that there has not been not one single shred of evidence that there was any cover up or coordinated effort.

Well not as the probe continues and more information continues to flow out it is becoming clear that the President and Democrats where actually correct.  There isn't one single shred of evidence, there is overwhelming evidence that there was a coordinated effort to target conservative groups and that there was a coordinated effort to cover it up.

The latest bombshell is from an IRS Lawyer that states that Lois Lerner's blackberry was intentionally wiped after the investigation into her started.  If that is a major piece of evidence of a cover up I can't imagine what is.  Add that to the long list of Computers that mysteriously had been wiped or misplaced or lost that contained evidence.  Also to the multiple times that that leaders within the IRS have had to change their stories as new evidence has come out.

There was a concerted effort on the Left to paint this investigation as a biased witch hunt and conspiracy theory by the Right.

I think that any person with half a brain now has little doubt that it was a conspiracy theory and that it very well may be a witch hunt.  It is a witch hunt to get to the bottom of this and by bottom I think we mean high high up the chain did it go.  It is fairly clear that Lois Lerner is doing her best to keep it from coming to light and she has some very powerful allies on her side.  Who or what are they trying to protect?

President Again Going to Throw out the Constitution

There are multiple reports that the Obama Administration is once again planning to bypass the rules of the Constitution and sign a Climate Change Treaty without the authorization of the Senate as required by law.

It is amazing that not only the President feels that this is allowed, but that any member of Congress feels that this is OK.  People wonder why there is so much under current discussions around about impeachment of the President?  It is things like this that make that conversation have so much merit.

Yet there are people who feel that what Governor Perry in Texas did is a Felony and he should be held accountable for his actions, yet think that what this President is doing is OK.

I don't even care whether the Treaty is a good or bad thing.  It really doesn't matter.  If it can't be done following the rules of law and our constitution than it shouldn't be done.

We can't allow this to happen.  It is a good thing that the Congress is taking the President to court for his actions on other things, but we have to force the leaders of this Country to follow the law and Constitution.  I don't understand how that there is any bias in this.  Understand that once you allow it for any leader, then you must allow it for all of them.  That is a very slippery slope to start down.  Democrats may want it to happen now with their guy at the helm, but what happens when it isn't your guy?  Then it will be illegal.  That doesn't work, it can't happen no matter who is in charge.

These are the reasons that we have a Constitution and Separation of Powers.  It is designed so that no single person, party or branch gains to much power.

Will the Ice Bucket Challenge Help ALS Victims?

I hear everyday from people complaining about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.  They don't get how this is doing any good.

For starters I think that it is pretty obvious.  Many people didn't even know what ALS was.  Now many are finding out that ALS stands for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.  So it is building awareness.

Also, last year the foundation for ALS received only $19.4 million.  This year thanks to the Bucket Challenge they doubled that in only 1 month.  They received $8.6 million in just one weekend.

So you might not be a fan of it clogging up your Social Media, the fact is that it has turned out to be one of the most brilliant fundraisers ever.  So just stop for a minute every time you see one of those people dumped the bucked that it is doing exactly what it was intended to do, raise awareness and funds for a good cause.

What is going on in Ferguson, MO

I can not figure out what exactly is going on in Ferguson, MO.  I somewhat get the outrage by the black community when an unarmed man is killed by the Police and they don't understand what is going on.  There is always a quick rush to judgement by the people who would be out of the loop and not be informed.

What I don't get is the feeding of that outrage and the rush to judgement by political leaders and some of the comments made by outside law enforcement officials.

The Governor, the President and the Attorney General have all made comments that just seem to baffle logic.  They should be the ones calming the situation and pleading for people to not rush to judgement and allow the investigation to be completed and the full details to be released.

I have heard so many competing stories on the whole event that I am not sure what to think at this point.  First I heard the story that Michael Brown was shot 6 times while trying to walk away.  If this was indeed the case then I agree there should be something done.  However that story by an eyewitness has been proven incorrect.  As the Autopsy has shown that there were in fact six shots all to the front of Michael Brown.  He most certainly was not walking away.  Then the story came out from the eyewitness that he was giving up to the officer and had his hands up.  That also seems very unlikely as several of the shots where to one arm.  It would take a heck of a shooter to hit an arm in the air without missing.

Then stories starting emerging that Michael Brown had in fact beat the Police Officer before the shooting.  Reports that the Officer had severe facial injuries and that a struggle for the Officer's weapon ensued.  The Police report that they have iron clad evidence of the struggle for the weapon.  This all would most definitely change things.  If this is all true than the shooting very well could be a justified shooting.

So now we have to wait.  See what the facts are after a full investigation.  Then all of these people who have sided with one side or the other will have a lot of explaining to do.  However I am sure that will not happen.  They have already rushed to judgement and don't really care what the facts are.  They have decided the outcome and the facts are irrelevant.
