There are multiple reports that the Obama Administration is once again planning to bypass the rules of the Constitution and sign a Climate Change Treaty without the authorization of the Senate as required by law.
It is amazing that not only the President feels that this is allowed, but that any member of Congress feels that this is OK. People wonder why there is so much under current discussions around about impeachment of the President? It is things like this that make that conversation have so much merit.
Yet there are people who feel that what Governor Perry in Texas did is a Felony and he should be held accountable for his actions, yet think that what this President is doing is OK.
I don't even care whether the Treaty is a good or bad thing. It really doesn't matter. If it can't be done following the rules of law and our constitution than it shouldn't be done.
We can't allow this to happen. It is a good thing that the Congress is taking the President to court for his actions on other things, but we have to force the leaders of this Country to follow the law and Constitution. I don't understand how that there is any bias in this. Understand that once you allow it for any leader, then you must allow it for all of them. That is a very slippery slope to start down. Democrats may want it to happen now with their guy at the helm, but what happens when it isn't your guy? Then it will be illegal. That doesn't work, it can't happen no matter who is in charge.
These are the reasons that we have a Constitution and Separation of Powers. It is designed so that no single person, party or branch gains to much power.
