Obama Ended the Iraq War

Bush Was Correct about Iraq Withdrawl

Would it be a Bad Idea to Impeach Obama?

There has been a lot of talk from the Left about the possibilities that the GOP could be looking to Impeach President Obama.

Would it be a good or a bad thing?

There is little doubt that Obama has done plenty of things that could lead to an Impeachment.  He has broken the Law and bypassed the Constitution on many occasions.  These are just opinions of the Right, but has also been backed by decisions of the Supreme Court.  Some of those decisions unanimously.

But would it be a good thing to Impeach him?

First of all lets look at it as a Country.  Would getting Obama out be a good thing?  Yes it would.  He obviously has failed on many different levels.  He has put the Country in a bad position not only in terms of Domestic Policy, but his Foreign Policy has been a total disaster.  However, with that being said, would Biden take us in a better direction with the short time that he would take over?  It is a major issue that would have to be thought out prior to moving forward with an impeachment.  Obama definitely deserves to be kicked to the curb for his actions, but his removal may not really move us forward.

Now lets look at it Politically.  I can't really understand why the Democrats are so against his Impeachment.  It is no big secret that he is the reason that so many of them are in for a big fight on their own reelections.  Many refuse to be seen with him and have jumped ship and had to speak out against him to try and save themselves politically.  If he was removed it would quickly increase their political chances.  That also is a main reason why I think the Republicans won't move very quickly for his removal.  He is their biggest ally in elections.  With him at the head of the Democratic party they have the upper hand.  Any time that a Republican can align their opponent with Obama it will benefit the Republican candidate.

If there is going to be a move to Impeach him and or remove him from office it most likely will come after the midterm elections.  The Democrats for whatever reason will fight it.

I have said all along that in this next election for President the Republican Candidate will have the upper hand.  It is the way the history of elections go.  Who the Democratic Candidate is will not really matter.  The way the American Electorate feel about Obama and all the miscues and missteps will fall on the Democrats.  The same way that Obama got elected, anybody but a Republican after George W. Bush.  This time around it will be anyone but a Democrat.

If the early signs are any indication the Democrats are already in trouble.  Hillary Clinton it appeared had planned to use her book tour to get a head start on the election as she pushed for her turn at the White House.  She quickly found that she is no longer the Darling of the Left.  She made several missteps early and the public and press pounced.  She has quickly retreated back to the shadows presumably to try and regroup.

One thing is for sure, the next few months and years will be quite the roller coaster ride for politics in the United States.

Imagine That, DOJ Opening Investigation into Ferguson PD

The Justice Department jumped in and along with several members of the Obama Administration and celebrities, to attack the Ferguson Police Officer who shot and killed an 18 year old in some sort of a disturbance.

The investigation is continuing and details have been slow to come out.  The information that has come out, mostly from the victims side, has been proven to be very unreliable and in many cases proven false.

First the report was that the Officer shot the man, Michael Brown, while he was running away.  However after autopsy reports came out that he was shot multiple times, all in the front, the story changed.

He then was standing with his hands up and the Officer just shot him.  I found that to be odd since several of the shots where to the arms.  I am not sure how good of a shot the Officer was or why he would just shoot up at the arms that were supposedly in the air.

Then reports came out that the Officer was taken to the hospital for injuries he sustained in an altercation with the victim.

The story then changed to, there was an altercation with between the victim and the officer where the victim started punching the officer while the officer was in his car.

The Officer sustained severe damage to his face in the altercation.

Then a report came out that there was a struggle for the Officers gun.  The Victims side denied that, however later reports came out that the Victims fingerprint was found on the gun.

I am not sure that with all of this information and the changing of information along with the slow leak of information coming out, how anyone can honestly pick a side in this.  Until a full report is released I am not sure how anyone can judge one side or the other.

Now the Justice Department has announced that they are going to look into racial allegations against the Ferguson Police Department.  That is just what needs to happen.

Are you kidding me?  How about coming clean on the true events of the incident first so that it can be transparent about what happen.  If the Officer did something wrong, hold him accountable.  If the Officer was justified, then say so.  Don't widen the investigation.

I don't think based on the information that I have seen that anyone outside of the people involved in the actual investigation really knows what happens.  That and maybe the witnesses.  I can not say who is at fault or if it was a combination of events and people at fault.  Could the Officer have been wrong? Absolutely.  Could the Victim have escalated the events that took place? Absolutely.  At this juncture I don't think we on the outside looking in can judge either one.

For the Justice Department to widen the investigation to include racism by the Department only makes a bad situation much worse.

Thank Goodness for the Brits

It appears that the Prime Minister of Britain is taking the lead on the ISIS situation.  It is great that the United States has found a leader willing to take on the role to protect the world.  It has come abundantly clear that we don't have one in the President of the United States.

Obama has fallen flat and looks like a man totally confused and lost with what he should do in the face of all the issues in the world today.

It is a blessing that the Prime Minister is willing to take on that role and lead.

I was watching yesterday during an interview with a leader in Britain who described the situation the best that I have ever heard.

He says that the rising of ISIS is their own fault.  They have forgotten that they are a Christian society and what that means.  They have taken it out of everything.

The same thing is happening now in the United States.

The sad part is that we are watching this happen and not doing anything to reverse the trend.

Wasserman Schulz May have Just helped Walker Win

The DNC Chair may have inadvertently given Republican Scott Walker the upper hand in the Governors race in Wisconsin.

With reports like what JSOnline is reporting below:

Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz ripped into Republican Gov. Scott Walker's record Wednesday during a round-table discussion on women's issues at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.

The Florida congresswoman said: "Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand. I know that is stark. I know that is direct. But that is reality."

Wasserman Schultz added: "What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back. It is not going to happen on our watch."

Walker actually has a pretty good record on women's issues and has a staunch supporter and women's right leader in Lt. Gov Rebecca Kleifisch.

So by the DNC Chair using these comments and inflaming women across the state she has put the Democratic Candidate in a very bad position.  Mary Burke has to either come out and defend what the DNC Chair has said or denounce them.  Mary Burke has chosen to do neither.  This puts her at a distinct disadvantage.  She now will have to defend her decision at every turn with women voters.

The comments have inflamed people involved in Domestic Violence.  The comments seem to minimize Domestic Violence and politicize those actions related to domestic violence.

Republican may denounce the actions of the DNC Chair, but the fact is that over the years she has been fantastic for them.  She has helped more GOP Candidates than she has hurt and most likely hurt more Democratic Candidates than she has helped.

Victim Kills would be Robber and Helps Break Robbery Ring

It appears a would be Victim of a Teen Crime Ring has helped police break up the ring.

The would be Victim shot and killed an alleged member of the group during an attempted robbery.  After the shooting the police where able to identify other members of the group and have been able to arrest many of them.

The group is suspected in many robberies throughout parts of the Milwaukee area.

Chalk this one up for the good guys.

Even Democrats are Pushing Obama

With ISIS getting more and more bold with it's moves and attacks, Obama continues to move at a snails pace without any plan for dealing with them.  He has called them the JV and has said that we need to make them manageable.

Well now it appears that at least one Democrat is tired of all the talk and wants to make sure that the pressure is on Obama to take some military action.

FOX News:

When Congress returns next week, Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., says he plans to introduce a bill to "ensure there's no question that the president has the legal authority he needs to use airstrikes in Syria."

Nelson said in a statement: "Let there be no doubt, we must go after ISIS right away because the U.S. is the only one that can put together a coalition to stop this group that's intent on barbaric cruelty."

Legal analysts and lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have long been at odds over what type of military action requires congressional approval -- the debate flared during the 2011 operation in Libya, and amid the threats of military action in Syria last year -- and this case is no different.

The president also has taken heat in recent days for what critics describe as a muddy approach to the Islamic State. Obama admitted last week his team does not have a strategy yet for tackling the group, also known as ISIS, in Syria.

He tried to clarify those remarks during a press conference on Wednesday -- on the heels of another American journalist's execution at ISIS hands -- and suggested the hang-up might be congressional authorization.

If this Legislation passes then the pressure will be on Obama to act.  It is amazing that he has absolutely no issue in circumventing Congress on pretty much anything except in a case where he might actually have a case to do so.  Even though really there is no indication that he would have to do so.  Congress appears to support the use of Military action, however the President has failed to as this point provide any type of plan or timeline.

Majority Support Right to Work Laws

A Gallup poll released late last month shows a large majority of Americans support right to works laws, even Democrats.

The poll showed that 71% overall support Right to Work legislation including 65% of Democrats.

That is a bad sign for the Unions and also for the Politicians that have aligned themselves with them.  Over the last several years we have seen a major trend across the United States to trim the power of the Unions and along with it multiple states that had long been Union Strongholds pass Right to Work legislation.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker took the Public Union head on in his first term as Governor and was able to not only stave off a recall effort by the Left and Unions, he won overwhelmingly in that recall.  The opposition to Walker only nationalized the effort to fight back against the powerful unions and showed other Governors that it was possible to win against them and win big.

Democratic Candidate for AG has some Explaining to do

It would appear that the Democratic Candidate for AG of Wisconsin isn't very tough on crime or maybe just not with people she knows or does business with.

JSOnline story:

Jefferson County District Attorney Susan Happ -- the Democratic candidate for AG -- is coming under fire because her office gave a favorable plea agreement in a child sexual assault case to a defendant with whom Happ and her husband had previously done a real estate deal.

Daniel J. Reynolds, 36, was given a deferred prosecution agreement by Jefferson County prosecutors earlier this year after being charged with felony counts of first-degree and second-degree sexual assaults of a child. Under the deal, Reynolds' offense would be reduced to a disorderly conduct violation if he stays out of trouble for 12 months and completes other requirements.

Records show Happ and her husband sold a piece of property to Reynolds under a $180,000 land contract that was executed in 2009 and paid off three years later.

Obama Has no Plan and Called ISIS JV

President Obama recently said that there currently was no plan on how to deal with ISIS.  He also recently was reported as calling them the JV.

Well now sources are reporting that for over a year Obama has been getting detailed reports on the rise of the group.

This is a man that simply doesn't have his eye on the ball.  If ISIS is the JV, I think Obama may still be playing Little League.

Obama Touts Economy and Minimum Wage while World falls apart

Amazingly Obama has tons of time to go to fundraisers and Union Events, Vacation and play golf, but he just doesn't have the time to deal with the multitude of events unfolding all around the world.

He doesn't have the time to get a Marine out of a Mexican Jail?

He doesn't have the time to help with Americans held hostage in North Korea?

He doesn't have time to address the taking over of the American Embassy Interests in Libya?

He doesn't have time to take on Russia over the Ukraine situation?

He doesn't have time to come up with a plan for ISIS?

He has time for Ferguson, MO.  He has time for Golfing.  He has time to jet all over the country for fundraisers.  He has time to go on TV and tell us that he has no plan on what to do with ISIS.

Is this the Leader of the Free World who has been in office for 6 years or is this some Amateur?  This is truly pathetic.  Where is the Leadership of America?  We are no longer the Light of Freedom around the world and have quickly become irrelevant in many areas of the world.

Mary Burke Skips out on President

Candidate for Governor Mary Burke set up a private meeting with President Obama while he was in Milwaukee for Laborfest, but apparently so afraid to be seen with him she skipped out of the event immediately after so no one would get a picture.

Problem for her is that her former Democratic Primary Challenger did snap a picture of her and one of her staffers leaving the event presumably while the President was speaking.
