What is going on in Ferguson, MO

I can not figure out what exactly is going on in Ferguson, MO.  I somewhat get the outrage by the black community when an unarmed man is killed by the Police and they don't understand what is going on.  There is always a quick rush to judgement by the people who would be out of the loop and not be informed.

What I don't get is the feeding of that outrage and the rush to judgement by political leaders and some of the comments made by outside law enforcement officials.

The Governor, the President and the Attorney General have all made comments that just seem to baffle logic.  They should be the ones calming the situation and pleading for people to not rush to judgement and allow the investigation to be completed and the full details to be released.

I have heard so many competing stories on the whole event that I am not sure what to think at this point.  First I heard the story that Michael Brown was shot 6 times while trying to walk away.  If this was indeed the case then I agree there should be something done.  However that story by an eyewitness has been proven incorrect.  As the Autopsy has shown that there were in fact six shots all to the front of Michael Brown.  He most certainly was not walking away.  Then the story came out from the eyewitness that he was giving up to the officer and had his hands up.  That also seems very unlikely as several of the shots where to one arm.  It would take a heck of a shooter to hit an arm in the air without missing.

Then stories starting emerging that Michael Brown had in fact beat the Police Officer before the shooting.  Reports that the Officer had severe facial injuries and that a struggle for the Officer's weapon ensued.  The Police report that they have iron clad evidence of the struggle for the weapon.  This all would most definitely change things.  If this is all true than the shooting very well could be a justified shooting.

So now we have to wait.  See what the facts are after a full investigation.  Then all of these people who have sided with one side or the other will have a lot of explaining to do.  However I am sure that will not happen.  They have already rushed to judgement and don't really care what the facts are.  They have decided the outcome and the facts are irrelevant.
