This morning the President-Elect became the President. He is now our President.After a rough swearing in, President Obama gave his address to the Nation. Although I thought it was a good speech, I also found myself thinking that it wasn't very graceful and didn't appear designed to Unite the two sides very much.
I got the pitch to get Americans to join him in solving the problems, but the undertones of blame appeared.
Now we turn the page and start the new chapter. I am sure we will be continually reminded that everything happened because of the previous chapter, but he now owns it. This was what he wanted and he must embrace it, own it, and solve it.
