The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that the Packers will name Dom Capers their new defensive coordinator. According to the newspaper's Packers Blog, a source familiar with the search process says head coach Mike McCarthy reached an agreement with Capers on a deal Sunday night. - WTMJ Story
Although I know that he wasn't the one of the top candidates for the job, I do think that he has the experience that McCarthy was looking for. He needed to find a Defensive Coordinator that could hire his own staff, and take control of the whole thing and take some of the pressure and duties off of the Head Coach.
