Mike Tate is a gift from the political gods. However, the fact that he has remained the standard bearer for the Wisconsin Democrats as long as he has is an indictment of the entire party more than it is of him. He’s doing the best he can. They are the ones that keep putting this political and strategic ignoramus in charge. We really need to make sure he stays in place. He is the Wayne Fontes of Wisconsin politics. No matter how bad things look for the GOP, we can look over and see Coach Tate pacing the Dem sidelines and realize we’ve still got a pretty good chance for a win.
