Mayor of Milwaukee Fights Gun Violence with Hotline

After a rash of 63 shootings in the last 4 weeks in Milwaukee the Mayor rolled out a hotline for people to call and report illegal guns.

Really?  That is what he came up with?

So far 30 children have been among the victims of the shootings.

Statistics released showed that a vast majority of these crimes were against African Americans and many of the shooters were also African American.  The Rev. Darryl R. Williams, said "When people are jobless, they turn to violence," ,"It has everything to do with a sense of hopelessness among our young people. If they don't have a job, they will engage in activities that are destructive."

Well that goes directly to the leadership in Milwaukee where the unemployment rate is pushing 50% for African American males.
