The IRS is telling the committee that is investigating them for their illegal actions against conservative groups that they have lost thousands of emails involving Lois Lerner due to her computer crashing.
First of all lets get a couple of things straight. If your computer crashes you do not lose emails. Secondly in my opinion whoever is feeding the committee this line of crap should be thrown in jail for obstruction and lying to Congress.
Emails are stored on the email server and most if not all companies of any size have redundancy to protect them in the event of a failure. Say the server crashes. Then there is always a backup or duplicate server running at the same time. Therefore nothing is lost.
To understand this better lets look at a few scenarios. Anyone who has email from say AT&T, Centurytel, Time Warner, Charter, Verizon, Google, Yahoo, etc. You can log onto your email from your home and see all your emails. You can then go to work and log into your email at work and see all the same emails. If you home computer crashes you can still get to your emails from another computer. The emails are not on that computer. Same thing for people with work email. Now days pretty much everyone has their company email on their work computer and also on their smartphone. If your computer goes down you still have access to your email via your smartphone. That is because the email is not on your computer.
To make a long story short we have another example of the Obama Administrations team trying to hide their illegal activities and sweep them under the rug. It is time that we get serious and start putting people in prison for their actions involving the initial illegal activity and then also really go after the people involved in the cover up.
Richard Nixon went down for a lot less than what we are seeing happen today in this administration.
