President Obama is continuing to slide in the Polling numbers. The new Rasmussen Poll puts him at only 55%. That is down from as high as 79% in some polls just 2 weeks ago.
The poll also shows that 71% (up from 65% a month ago) of American now believe that he is Politcally Liberal.
More bad news for the President and the Democrats is, Republicans have cut the gap in half when it comes to Congress. The Democrats are only favored 4% better than Republicans. That number was 7% just last week.
You can look squarely at the Partisanship in Washington and the Stimulus package as these numbers continue to slide. This has been the best case scenario for the Republicans. The more details that get out about the Stimulus package the more you will see the numbers dip for the Democrats.
