Obama Compromise on Tougher Lobbyist Rules

Tougher rules against revolving door for lobbyists and former officials

"No political appointees in an Obama-Biden administration will be permitted to work on regulations or contracts directly and substantially related to their prior employer for two years. And no political appointee will be able to lobby the executive branch after leaving government service during the remainder of the administration." - Politifact

Politifact first reported this as a Promise Kept. Then they changed it to Compromise after it was uncovered that there is a waiver clause. I have asked Politifact to explain the Compromise tag more clearly. Obama's statement was pretty clear. Yet he has offered Waivers to allow Lobbyists into key positions. This should be listed as a Promise Broken.
