StoryI believe that the Police and District Attorney are absolutely correct in filing charges against this young lady. Too many times we allow kids to get away with similar stuff, not even a slap on the wrist. We write it off to them just being kids.
After reading the story, I think that if you don't agree with the charges, then you just aren't being honest with yourself.
Consider the fact, that if this young lady wanted to she could of very easily accused any one of us of racism, assault, sexual misconduct, etc. We would have seen our whole lives flashed before the world in the news. Spent countless thousands of dollars defending ourselves in a court.
After they find out you are making the whole thing up, there is no wall to wall coverage of the wrong that the person did. No apology for ruining your life.
Hold these people accountable when they do dumb stuff.
