Mary Burke is running for Governor because she knows the people of Wisconsin deserve better. A better economy that creates more good paying jobs. A brighter future and more opportunities for our children through education. And better leadership that brings people together to solve problems. So that is what is posted by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. That is what She and They want you to believe.
So can she do it?
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Two former high-level executives of Trek Bicycle claim that Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke was forced out as head of European operations for her family's business 21 years ago — an allegation that Burke and the company denied, labeling it a last-minute smear campaign."I'm not saying she was incompetent," said Tom Albers, former Trek chief operating officer who left the company in 1997. "Maybe this job was too big for her."
Mary Burke's Response:
"The truth is that after getting five additional offices up and running and managing seven operations, we decided to restructure and there was no need for my position and two of the people reporting to me could directly report to people in the United States,"
So Lets understand this. She wasn't fired? Instead we are suppose to believe that after she was the central figure responsible for building the European Market from $3 Million to $50 Million, they restructured and her job was eliminated? She was downsized out of her family's own company?
Then we had this.
Right Wisconsin:
The sales team threatened to quit if Burke was not removed from her position as director of European Operations, according to Gary Ellerman, who served as Trek’s human resources director for more than 21 years. His account was confirmed by three other former employees.
Let us now refer back to what she and the Democratic Party have on their website. She is running for Governor because Wisconsin needs "better leadership that brings people together to solve problems."
Sounds like she had a problem with that at Trek. Doesn't appear that she was bringing people together to solve problems.
