Democrat Power goes after Sheriff Clarke

The power in Milwaukee County appear to be on the attack in the Primary to take out Sheriff David Clarke.

Many people believe that Milwaukee County Exec Chris Abele is funding the attacks.  It wouldn't be much of a surprise as the County Exec has made it crystal clear that he doesn't like the Sheriff.  He has done everything in his power to take away funding and has put the people of Milwaukee County in Danger by cutting the Sheriff's labor force.

The power 3 in Milwaukee County have been systematically attacking the Sheriff for some time.  Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee D.A. John Chisholm have been on the attack in recent months as well.

Now add in Milwaukee's Democrat Leaning Newspaper and you have a steep hill for the Democratic Sheriff to climb.

The Sheriff does have one thing on his side, the voters of Milwaukee County.

The Sheriff is counting on Republican voters to cross over and vote in the Democratic Primary to help him survive the attacks.  In Wisconsin you can only vote in one of the primary's, either the Republican or the Democrat.  So in this case it will take the Republican crossover vote to help stave off the power and money being poured into the attacks on Sheriff Clarke.
