President & the Economy

For weeks now we have heard the President talk about how bad the Economy is. It is in crisis and we need the Stimulus now. We can't wait, we need it now.

Hell it was such a hurry that it was voted on by members of the House and Senate without any of them even reading it.

They had to vote right away, so why is it 4 days later and the President hasn't gotten around to signing it. If it was truly such an emergency then why not sign it right away? He signed the equal pay bill quicker than this. He signed to close gitmo quicker than this.

When the President goes on every possible TV Outlet and tells you it is going to get worse and worse, what does he expect to happen? He is selling doom and gloom. Whether it be intentional or not, people will tighten up their wallets because the President says so. That is just poor leadership.
