Wisconsin has lowest Traffic Fatalities since 1944

It appears that the super high gas prices and the poor economy may be helping to keep people alive. In 2008 Wisconsin reported the fewest Traffic Related fatalities since 1944. Much of this is attributed to the decline in travelers due to the high gas prices and the weak economy.
