Burris Appointment Legal, Dems say No Way

The Illinois Supreme Court has ruled that Burris' appointment is legal without the Secretary of State's Signature.

"The ruling says no Illinois official has to do anything further to validate the appointment made by Gov. Rod Blagojevich." - FOX News

"But Democratic leaders on Friday maintained that Burris still cannot take President-elect Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat without White's signature. And White says he still won't sign the document. " - FOX News

Democrats still say they will not seat him as a US Senator. The Democrats are obviously above the law. They don't have to follow it?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was banking on the Illinois court to resolve the matter after turning away Burris earlier in the week because his paperwork was not signed. They have, just not to his liking.

This is an insight check on who is running Congress.
