WTMJ is reporting that sources have said that the Milwaukee Brewers have signed Trevor Hoffman as their closer for 2009. Hoffman, a former Padre, is the Career saves leader and converted 30 of 34 save opportunities last year for the Padres.
After Solomon Torres retired and the struggling Gagne went for free agency, Yankees signed Sabathia, the Brewers have been in search of pitching for their 2009 Campaign.
