Obama Breaks Laws and Rules

Obama has forever changed the game.  He not only broke the law with the release of Prisoners without proper notification to Congress, he broke a longstanding stance of not negotiating with Terrorist.

This makes for a very dangerous situation for Americans around the world fighting terrorist.  Now every American becomes a high value bargaining chip for Terrorist.

I think that it is safe to say that we are all very happy that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has been freed, however I think it is also safe to say that the way it happened has now put many many many people in danger.

Terrorist will be looking for Americans that they can capture to use as bargaining chips with the American Government.  Prior to this, it has always been that the U.S. did not negotiate with Terrorist.

Obama's team has said that they couldn't notify Congress because of the urgency of the matter.  However it has also come to light that the negotiations have been ongoing for months.  So that is a blatant lie once again by this administration.

New York City School Calls girl Fat

The School District in New York City is combating Obesity.  They are doing fitness exams and sending home notes with students to let the parents know if their child is fat.  Well that all sounds good in theory.  However there seems to be a disconnect.  They told the girl pictured below she is overweight!!!! Just take one look and you know there is a problem.

I think anyone with a brain in their head can tell this girl is not overweight.  4'1" and weighing 66 pounds is an issue?

Harley Davidson's PR Problem

David Zien, former lawmaker in Wisconsin well known for riding his old Harley over 1 million miles is claiming that Harley is refusing to honor the warranty on his new bike because he flew too many flags behind it.  Mr. Zien says the bike broke down with transmission problems and Harley is blaming the flags and not fixing it.

This seems pretty simple for Harley Davidson.  Technically the company may be right.  Legally they may be able to walk away from fixing the transmission.  But, and this is a very BIG But.  Is all the bad press really worth it?

I am an avid rider myself.  I own a Harley.  I can tell you that I have heard the story being talked about on local radio stations, local news and today I even read about it in the National News.  Is this what Harley Davidson wants people talking about when they talk about Harleys?  I would think not.  If I was in a position of authority for Harley, I would be front and center getting this bike fixed ASAP and make a big deal of it.  I would definitely want the Narrative of this conversation changed quickly.

Milwaukee Brewer Carlos Gomez Proves He is one of the Good Guys

From the JSOnline -

Atlanta - Because of his home-run incident involving former Braves catcher Brian McCann last year at Turner Field, Brewers centerfielder Carlos Gomez has been getting booed by Atlanta fans during the first two games of the series between the clubs here.
I wonder if Braves fans would boo Gomez tonight if they knew what he did today.
Gomez posted these tweets on Twitter this morning:
"Just went to see the young fan that was hit by my foul ball last night. He was in great spirits and I had a chance to sign the ball."
"You don't like to see anyone get hurt, especially a child. Fans, please be alert and bring your glove!"
Batting in the seventh inning Tuesday night of the Brewers' 5-0 loss to the Braves, Gomez fouled off a pitch from Julio Teheran that carried on a line over the Atlanta dugout and into the stands, striking a young boy.
Teheran and Gomez were visibly upset about the boy getting struck, each crouching down in distress with hopes that he'd be OK. The boy was carried off quickly so it was difficult to tell exactly what happened, but he appeared to have been struck on the face.
Obviously, Gomez felt so bad about the incident that he tracked down the young fan today -- which probably took some doing -- and visited him to make sure he is OK. That is an act of kindness that can only come from the player's heart.

Milwlaukee Journal Story

Milwaukee's Crime Problem

Milwaukee has a crime problem and they just don't seem to know what to do.

It seems like pretty much every night at 10 you turn on the news and hear about someone being shot in the city of Milwaukee.

I know the Mayor and the Milwaukee County Executive talk repeatedly about their drive to cut back on crime and in particular gun violence.  There was even a "Cease Fire Week" in the city a week or so ago and that was a drive to cut back on gun violence.  How did that work out?  Well it was a deadly week of shootings and gun violence.  In one incident an 11 year old was injured in crossfire.

I am sure their idea of cutting back on Sheriff's Deputies and Police Officers is a step in the right direction of curbing violence.

I really doubt the fact that in Milwaukee the economy is a mess and unemployment is high has anything to do with all of this.

I had a great idea for curbing the violence in the City and County of Milwaukee.  I think under my plan we can see results rather quickly and put a big dent in not only the crime problem, but the economy and unemployment.  Ready for my plan? It isn't that difficult.

Obama's VA Scandal

Here we go again.  Another major scandal come crashing down on the Obama Administration.  Of course the responses from the White House are almost the same as in every other scandal.  The President is mad, nobody is madder than him.  The President will push until we get to the bottom of this.

But of course he isn't mad enough to fire the people in charge.  Just like he didn't fire Clinton for Benghazi, Lois Lerner for the IRS.  I am quite certain he is hoping just like those scandals that the press will quit worrying about it in a week or so.  Then he will say it is just the Republicans fabricating it.

When will everyone hold this man accountable?  When will we drop the hammer on him?  It isn't like he hasn't proven time and time again his inept leadership skills.  He has been engulfed in one problem after another. Somehow he has escaped each one by pushing off the blame.  He hasn't taken any responsibility and the media has given him a pass.  It is sad that it has taken this long for the American people to finally see him for what he is.  His numbers are continuing to fall in the polls.  The saddest part of this, there are hardcore Dems who just blindly support him.  No matter what he does they support him.  It is as if they don't have a brain in their heads.  They can't think for themselves or have any common sense.

Now we will watch as yet another major issue plagues this President and watch to see how he will wiggle his way out of this one.

VA Health Problem Precursor to How Obamcare will work

For all the talking heads out there on the left who believe Obamacare is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and all the criticism is unfounded and just partisan politics.

Well.  Just take a look at everything going on with the VA Medical system.  Need we say more?

Gov. Scott Walker is to Blame

I read a post yesterday from someone who is an activist.  They lean pretty far from the left so it didn't really surprise me to read the post, but it really didn't make sense.  Usually they have common sense and just pretty much follow along with the talking points of the left, but this time it was more of just a rant.

The topic was about the parking in downtown Milwaukee.  Lets all face it, parking in Milwaukee sucks.  It is expensive and there really isn't a lot of it that is convenient to where anyone is going.  However this rant was about how expensive it is and the fact that the company that runs the parking was raising the prices and taking away parking during the upcoming Summerfest.

OK. So you are going to have to pay more and they are going to limit parking for you during the festival.  Got it.  It sucks.  The company really isn't looking out for the people who use the parking year round and instead catering to the festival.  Got it.  It sucks.

Then came the zinger....."thanks Scott Walker"

What does the Gov Walker have to do with this?  Does he own the company? No. Is he the Mayor of Milwaukee? No.  Does he run the festival? No.  Is he the County Executive of Milwaukee County? No

So where does any of this fall on Scott Walker's shoulders?

Maybe you should pull up your big girl and boy panties and quit being partisan.  Go after the powers to be that can change all of this.  Mayor Barrett, County Exec Abele, The Company that runs parking.  How about doing something that makes sense.

Forget about it.  It's Scott Walker's fault or just maybe it was that dang George Bush who did this.

Pelosi Wins Back Speaker of the House?

Seriously, who in their right mind would want her leading again?

The chances of the Democrats winning back the house in this election are very very very remote, but even if they did, seriously Nancy Pelosi again?

Now to switch gears a little, this weekend I was flipping through some channels and landed on an interview with Harry Reid.  I thought to myself, hmmm wonder what he has to say and what is going on.  Well after watching it for a few minutes I am still asking myself the same question.  I really am not sure what the interview was about because the interviewer seemed a bit perplexed himself and Reid seemed to just be rambling on and on about Republicans.  About the only thing I understood from the whole thing was Harry Reid said he would allow for a vote on the Keystone Pipeline.  I was kind of confused because I thought he had prevented that vote on multiple occasions.

Anyways, back to my point.  Nancy Pelosi? Really? There are so many other Democrats that would do a much better job than her.

2014 Summerfest Line-up Amazing

The 2014 Headlining Summerfest lineup is set  and it is a great lineup.

This year is the 47th year and they are doing it up right.  Starting off the Big Gig with Bruno Mars.  Then you have Headliners Luke Bryan, Lady Gaga, Outkast, Motley Crue, Brad Paisley/Zac Brown Band, One Republic and Dave Matthews Band all Headlining during the festivals run.  To Close out the Festival the Big Gig was able to land Usher for his only show in the U.S. this summer.

Amazing job Summerfest.
