Vice President Joseph Biden told ABC's George Stephanopoulos in an interview taped in Iraq on Saturday for "This Week" that the United States does not intend to slow its withdrawal plan in Iraq even if violence spikes after U.S. troops leave.
Asked what happens "if the violence flares up again," the vice president replied, Well, that's going to be a tragic outcome for the Iraqi people. We made a commitment."
Stephanopoulos then asked, "are we going to put our lives on the line again," if violence flares back up in Iraq, and Biden flatly said "no." - Politico Story
At some point you have to move on and let the Iraqi's take care of their own, but you have to be prepared to help if necessary. It will be really sad to see all of the years of work, the lives lost, all be for nothing because the Obama Administration won't be there if things take a turn for the worse.
