It Pays to retire in Milwaukee County

"Reddin collected a lump-sum "backdrop" payment of $976,499. He also gets monthly retirement checks of $6,070, or nearly $73,000 a year." - JSOnline Story

I guess 35 years should account for something. Deputy District Attorney Jon Reddin sure is set now. Almost a Million Dollar lump sum payout and then $73,000 a year!? That is our hard earned tax dollars at work here in good ole Milwuakee, Wisconsin.

That is pretty good for any family, but hang on, there is more. Not much more, but more.

"His wife, Mary, also retired from the county in October. A manager of the county's court information system, Mary Reddin got a $68,385 backdrop plus $2,263 a month, or about $27,000 a year." - JSONLINe

"Grand total for the Wauwatosa couple: $1.04 million upfront, plus $99,990 a year for life." - JSONLINE

Makes you wonder why our taxes are so high?
