As I watched the Police Memorial in Dallas yesterday I was Extremely impressed with the Speeches by the Senator, Mayor, Chief of Police and President Bush. They really touched on things that you talk about when you are at a Memorial. They celebrated the lives of the Officers, Supported their families and talked about healing.
Then President Obama took to the Microphone. I was impressed early on in the speech how he talked about the Officers and their families. Then he decided to take a spin and turn it into a Political Stump speech. He started talking about Black Lives Matter, Race and the shootings by Police officers.
I sat and watched in horror as the Police Officers and Families of the fallen sat visibly uncomfortable in the audience. They stopped clapping and you could see them upset about the speech.
I have never been a big Obama Supporter obviously, but this just was absurd. He was not a leader and he used this memorial to push his agenda. It was sad and I felt for the families. George Bush and the Police Chief showed more leadership and care for the Country than Obama did with much shorter speeches. They did not pick sides, but talked of healing and coming together.

From a Former Listener of Talk Radio
I listened for many years to talk radio. It was my fix for getting my political news and really enjoyed.
Now I am a recovering listener. I now don't turn it on and have transitioned to enjoying listening to music on my drive times.
Over the past year I have gotten so fed up with the local talk radio that I can't stomach the craziness that it has become. It seems that the opinions of the host is that they know better than anyone and everyone is stupid and wrong for having different beliefs and thought patterns than them. I have been closely watching the GOP to see how they handle this convention and election. I have always been a strong Republican and have found myself for the first time answering the question of party as Independent. The GOP is fracturing and when people can't listen to both sides and work together, then I am not sure this party represents me anymore.
So for now I am enjoying listening to great music on other stations and watching to see if the GOP is going to work together or fall apart.
For the Record, Democrats have just as big a mess as the GOP has going on.

The Problem with Black Lives Matter
There is a fundamental problem with the Black Lives Matter movement. That problem stems from the name itself.
All lives matter! By making the movement about one race is in itself racist. It seems to me that the movement is about what is perceived as Law Enforcements actions against people. Does it really matter if it is against a black person, white person or anybody else? If you only care about one race, then that in itself is racist.
The President should key in on this himself. He wants to be a leader, but is failing miserably.
Until you make things all inclusive then you will continue to have racism. You can't have things that include one race and not another and then complain about racism. It just doesn't work that way.
Until we as a society quit having these organizations and events that are designed for one race and not inclusive of everyone, we will never take down the wall of racism.

Hillary Clinton Will not be Prosecuted over Emails
Clinton again will skate free of wrongdoing. The FBI Director James Comey has said that they will not recommend charges for what Clinton did. He argued that based on the evidence "no reasonable prosecutor" would even consider bringing a case.
However just just last year the U.S. Government did exactly that. A case very similar when a Naval Reservist had classified material on Personal Devices and the FBI found no evidence that he intended any harm with the material he was prosecuted. He was fined, put on probation and stripped of his security clearance forever.
I guess that wouldn't be good if you are trying to become the President.
This is exactly what is wrong with America today. The Politicians want to make it about Rich vs Poor, or Black vs White. It really isn't about that. It is about Politicians who get away with anything and everything and none of the rules and laws that we must follow apply to them.

Cruz Wins Wisconsin, Bernie Sanders is Big Story
Ted Cruz may have won the Republican Primary in Wisconsin, but he still failed to even get 50% of the Republican vote. The Republican establishment and it's so called talking heads could really be setting up the end of the Republican Party. With the "Never Trump" crowd out there and hoping for a contested Convention this very well could be a recipe for disaster for the GOP. If Trump goes into the Convention with the Delegate lead and they choose to nominate someone else, they very well could lose all those votes and hand the General Election to the Democrats. Trump could also run as an independent and that would also spell disaster for the GOP. He would have every right and I think many would support it. Also if Cruz goes in with the delegate lead you could also see a scenario where they still don't nominate him either. The GOP is really in a lot of trouble here.
The bigger news is the win by Bernie Sanders. Sanders not only won, he trounced Clinton 56% to 43%. The same thing could apply to the Democrats if Sanders continues to win states and Clinton becomes the Nominee. Will all of these Sanders supporters turn on a dime and support Clinton?

Election Time in Wisconsin
I love Politics. I mean I really love them. I get excited every year around election time. However this year, I have been so frustrated.
I am so sick of listening to so called talking heads for the "Conservative Movement" telling everyone who they should and shouldn't vote for. I am not a supporter of any particular candidate, but I most certainly won't rip a fellow Conservative for voting for someone other than the candidate I like. I think all these people are doing is alienating those voters and making it much harder for the GOP to win in November.
I have tuned out these talking heads after listening to them for 10 years, I am so turned off by their bias and the way they are talking down to people. It is ridiculous and what is wrong with the GOP today. Let the voters decide who the candidate should be and then support them. I laugh at the people who say I will never support your candidate if they win the nomination. Well, what do you think the response from the other side will be? Yep, they won't support your candidate either. So now the party is completely split and the GOP won't win.
Tomorrow will be interesting.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Again Prints Lies to Help Candidates
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is one of the worst papers in the country. It really isn't a newspaper as much as it is a tabloid.
Over the last several years it has been pointed out on numerous occasions about the paper printing false stories and outright lies just to smear a political candidate in favor of someone they support. They were all in for the John Doe Probes and apparently didn't learn their lesson.
Now they have come out to smear Justice Bradley. Even her Ex-Husband has come out to tell everyone the story was false and a lie. He even said that he told them it wasn't true before they printed it.
It is so sad that today it is almost impossible for people to know the truth about anything. Newspapers like the Journal Sentinel will make up stories or tell you only one side of things because they have a horse in the race. They won't tell you anything bad about "Their Guy". The media isn't really about reporting the news anymore. They are more of machines to be used by one party or candidate against the other.
It is sad.

The Republican Party is in Trouble and It isn't Trump
The Republican Party is in a world of trouble, and it isn't Donald Trump who is the problem.
The Problem is that the Republican Party doesn't want the American People to be the ones to decide the Nominee for the party. The talking heads want to tell us who it should be. I have been a supporter of the Republicans. Now I am just up in arms at the way these people are acting. I am not sure yet who I support.
It appears that it is down to a two man race with Trump and Cruz. The real problem is, the Republican establishment and their talking heads don't really like either one of these guys. It wasn't long ago that they were ripping Cruz much as they are doing with Trump now.
The voters are repeatedly telling you in the primary elections that both of these guys are resonating with them. Now you are seeing the actions of protesters at these rallies and we are blaming the candidates for it. How about people look in the mirrors? People who are the voice of Conservatives on the radio and TV are blasting Trump and comparing him to Hitler. They are pushing the anybody but Trump movement. Then wonder why things like this are happening. When there were protests in Madison over Act 10 these same people didn't blame Scott Walker or Fitzgerald, it was the Protesters who crossed the line. Does Trump say some dumb stuff, yep. Is he a polished Politician who speaks politically correct, nope. I think that is his draw. That's why people like him. They are tired of all that. Hell even the so called voices of Conservatives have said they are tired of it too. Yet when it isn't your guy doing it, then it is wrong?
Not long ago these same people were out ripping Ted Cruz and how we can not let him get the nomination because he is way to extreme. Now that someone has knocked him down, they don't want that person either. They are even going so far as to say that we have to split the votes up so we can pick whoever they want at the convention and screw the actual voters. Then they wonder why the Republican Party is a mess? If Donald Trump or Ted Cruz doesn't win the nomination I think you can say goodbye to the GOP.
The problem with the Republican Party right now is the Leadership and Establishment of the party. It has to change and better change quickly.
If you want to see what is wrong in politics and America today all you have to do is watch what is happening with the Republican Party today.

Chris Larson or Chris Abele?
The County Exec looks to be open at this point. Chris Abele has outspent his opponent by 2-1 and still lost in the Primary by a slim margin.
Why is it so close between two Democrats?
Chris Abele has been spending a ton of money trying to show all of the great things that he has done for Milwaukee County. How he has saved the Milwaukee Bucks, Helped Single Fathers, Improved about everything in the County.
Chris Larson hasn't had to spend a whole lot of money to get his point across. The nightly news stories do it all for him. He then just has to pound the point home in speeches. Abele's personal vendetta against Sheriff Clark has proven an obstacle Abele hasn't been able to answer. Crime is skyrocketing in the County and Abele keeps taking money away from the Sheriff. He claims he is making law enforcement better. He tried to take away law enforcement duties of the Airport from the Sheriff, taking away manpower, taking away funding. By the way did you see the big crime spree at the Airport Recently? How about the disaster at the Mitchell Domes? How about the concrete falling off the Milwaukee County Courthouse?
Larson doesn't need to spend money to show the unaddressed problems in Milwaukee County. The News does it for him. Abele decided to be an opponent of the Sheriff instead of working with him to better the County. Now he has real problems and no real help.

Russ Feingold Doesn't Remember Trying to Stop a Supreme Court Nominee
It just totally amazes me how politicians from both parties forget so quickly how they treated the other side when they had the power. Now it appears that the Democrats forgot all about how they treated then President Bush when he had a Nominee to the Supreme Court.
Now conveniently President Obama himself says that he regrets trying to hold up Bush's nominee when he was a Senator. Russ Feingold even seems to forget.
I have said it many times, be careful how you act and do things when you have the power, because it will come back and haunt you when you don't. If it is OK for you to act one way when you have power, then you better be ready to suck it up when you don't and the other side does the exact same thing back to you.
The Democrats are all up in arms now that there is an opening on the Supreme Court and Republicans have the power to stop any nomination by President Obama. They just can't believe that anyone would attempt to do that. How wrong it is. How un-American it is. How downright spiteful it is. Yeah, forget that we did it. Forget that we were wrong, forget how un-American we were, forget how spiteful we were. Now it matters.
It sure would be nice to see real adults in Washington who care more about US, The American People than their party of choice.

Right Wisconsin:
Feingold said it’s “irresponsible not to consider” a nomination to the Supreme Court by President Barack Obama. He also said to Gousha about considering Supreme Court nominees when he was a senator, “In all cases, we ended up in an expeditious manner, taking up full consideration of them.”

Right Wisconsin:
Of course, in 2007 Feingold didn’t have any issue with Congress sitting on Bush’s appointments until after the president left office. As the Weekly Standard points out, “In late 2007, the Harry Reid-led Senate had a backlog of more than 200 appointments that it had failed to act on, including dozens of judges. In order to prevent Bush from filling any of those slots with recess appointments, Reid started holding 30 second ‘pro-forma’ sessions over the holidays so the Senate would technically be in session and the president would be constitutionally prohibited from making recess appointments.”Feingold issued not one word of protest at the time about how Democratic senators were not doing their jobs “on behalf of the American people.” It wasn’t even the election year yet and Feingold did not talk about the sacred duty of the Senate to consider the president’s nominations or the importance of not waiting two years to fill these vacancies.
It sure would be nice to see real adults in Washington who care more about US, The American People than their party of choice.
