Megyn Kelly had one of the highest rated shows at FOX News when she decided to leave and go to NBC.
NBC Signed Megyn to a 3 year deal worth $69 Million.
She came in with a bang for NBC, She was doing Sunday Night Specials and had landed an hour long slot on the Today Show, now called Megyn Kelly Today. However the Prime Time slots have disappeared and the ratings for her Today slot are horrible.
Megyn Kelly had long been the Queen at FOX New and was expected to be the future for the Network. However her spats with then Presidential Candidate Trump crashed her ratings and made her vulnerable. NBC took advantage to draw her to the network. Anti-Trump is their thing and she most definitively was Anti-Trump.
The gamble hasn't paid off for NBC News at all. Her ratings are horrible and the Today Show is struggling. Not only have the viewers not tuned in for Megyn Kelly, Matt Lauer's issues have stained the top rated show.
It really is a shame. I used to enjoy watching Megyn Kelly and her unsightliness. However I was also one that got tired of the Trump bashing and tuned her out during the election, the same as I don't watch any network news either.
I want to watch the news to get the news. Not over exaggerated stories, not a political story full of spin, just the news. It is almost impossible to get that now. I watch Local News and then I read and read to get the news.
