Politifact Mary Burke - FALSE

Politifact Wisconsin Has Rated Mary Burke FALSE on her latest bash on Gov. Walker.

False

Politifact Wisconsin:

A new TV ad from Democratic candidate for governor Mary Burke plows some familiar ground, arguing that Wisconsin is heading in the wrong direction in terms of job creation.

The ad began airing Sept. 23, 2014, several days after the latest set of jobs numbers were issued.
It opens with a narrator saying "It’s happened again. The new August jobs numbers are out, and Wisconsin lost another 4,300 jobs."

The narrator then cites Gov. Scott Walker’s now-unreachable pledge to create 250,000 private-sector jobs, criticizes "tax cuts to the wealthy" and cuts to education, and continues with a claim that has become a Burke campaign mantra:
"And we’ve fallen to dead last in Midwest job growth."

Anniversary of Prosecutor Chisholms Drug Dealer Style Raids

It was a year ago.  Still no one has been able to explain to me the sense in the style of raids that Prosecutor Chisholm and his cohorts performed on Conservatives.

It was in the pre-dawn hours and houses were surrounded and lit up with flood lights.  Officers and Investigators threatened to use battering rams and rifled through the targets house.

This is the type of raid performed on Drug Dealers and felons.

The worst part about it is that as we now know, they had no real proof of any crime.  They were trying to find a crime.  That is like if the Police and Prosecutors showed up at any residence and came into your house in the pre-dawn hours and rifled through your house hoping to find anything that they could turn into a crime.

To make matters even worse, there were children involved in many of these instances.

Then to top it all off, because of the John Doe laws, these people were not allowed to tell anyone anything.

So your neighbors house gets raided before daylight in the early morning hours.  Police and Investigators light it up and go in.  They go through all of their belongings and haul out boxes and more boxes.

What do you think of your neighbor?

Now you ask what happened and they can't even tell you?

If that isn't plain and simple misconduct on behalf of the Prosecutor then I don't know what is.

There should be repercussions for this type of behavior.

This time it was someone else, it could be you next!!!

New Poll Says Majority of Americans Would Kick California out

In a tongue and cheek poll by FOX News, 53% said they would vote California off the island.  I guess the proper wording would be, kick them out of the Union.

The second choice for those voting would be New York.  However the number was nearly as high with only 25% agreeing with that choice.

They then followed with Texas and Florida.

It almost appears that maybe it was a swipe at the electoral college.  Kicking out the states with the highest numbers.  Although they picked New York over Texas which has a higher number.

Imagine how our Presidential Elections would change if you got rid of California?

Stupid Act 10 Saves Milwaukee Public Schools $6 Million

Governor Walker forced that stupid Act 10 down our throats.  He pushed it as part of a plan to help the State and Local Governments save money and fix their Budgets.

This bill was so wrong for Wisconsin that Democrats fled the state and hid out in Illinois to avoid the
vote.

Right Wisconsin - Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) expects to save $6 million a year as the school board opts to switch health plans for their retirees.
Maciver Institute - in-depth analysis by the MacIver Institute of local and state savings brought on by Wisconsin 2011 Act 10 has found that tax payers have saved $2.7 billion since the law was enacted.
Watchdog.org - By 2020, Gov. Scott Walker’s controversial public-sector collective bargaining reform law will save Milwaukee Public Schools more than $100 million a year, according to a new report.

Now here we are 3 years later.  What in the heck is going on?

This Act 10 thing is really actually saving money!!!!!???

Huh, who knew?

Mary Burke Campaign tries to Kill Story in Newspaper

Candidate for Governor of Wisconsin Mary Burke's spokesman tried to get any mention of the press restrictions or VIP treatment at the rally removed from story?

Right Wisconsin Story:

The partisan attacks worry Burke campaign spokesman Joe Zepecki. He called the Journal Sentinel newsroom and tried to have the mention of press restrictions deleted from the online news article. Editors refused. Zepecki then complained bitterly in emails to Kissinger and said it wasn't news, nor was her inclusion in the article that people at the rally who needed to sit down were having trouble finding chairs.

Zepecki later told me no other reporters mentioned any of this in their news accounts. That just proves Kissinger is the only one who got it right. We can't have politicians or their staffs dictating how news is covered, because you know they'd love to.

Zepecki admitted it was a mistake to restrict press interviews with anyone who showed up for the rally. These were Burke and Michelle Obama fans filling the convention hall, and I would think the campaign would be thrilled to see them quoted in the news.

Leon Panetta Blasts Obama Administration Over Iraq

Former CIA Director and Defense Secretary in the Obama Administration blasts his former boss in is upcoming Memoir.

Panetta talks in detail about the Obama Administrations decision not to leave any forces in Iraq.

FOX News Story:

Panetta explained that Iraqi leaders privately wanted some U.S. forces to stay behind after the formal 2011 withdrawal, though they would not say so publicly. The former secretary, though, said the U.S. had “leverage” to strike a deal, and the Defense and State departments tried to do exactly that.

“But,” he wrote, “the President’s team at the White House pushed back, and the differences occasionally became heated. … and those on our side viewed the White House as so eager to rid itself of Iraq that it was willing to withdraw rather than lock in arrangements that would preserve our influence and interests.”

He said the negotiations with then-Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki went down to the wire in December 2011, but the White House never stepped up.

Obama has claimed  that it was the Iraqi Government who didn't want any boots left on the ground and that they had tried to keep some.

However we are now finding out otherwise.

FOX News Story:

Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., though, seized on Panetta's comments -- as well as similar remarks by former Iraq Ambassador Ryan Crocker that the U.S. "could have gotten that agreement" if officials had been more persistent.

"The latest statements by two of the most respected national security officials to serve under President Obama definitively refute the falsehood that this Administration has told the American people for years about their efforts to leave a residual force in Iraq," the senators said in a statement. "As we have said all along ... the Obama Administration never made a full effort to leave a residual force in Iraq."

It has become clear to anyone with any common sense that the Obama Administration, time and time again, has put politics over what is the best thing for the United States.

Many Democrats and their supporters blasted Bush and made comments calling him an idiot.  They blasted Romney when he talked about Russia.

Well now if you look back, Bush warned anyone who would listen about withdrawing the troops from Iraq too soon.  He said exactly what would happen and it has.  So I guess now we know who the not so smart people really are.

We also have seen what Russia has been up to.  I guess Romney wasn't off base either.  Again I guess we now know who the not so smart people are.

Judge Jeanine - Be Prepared, Govt Won't Protect You from ISIS/ISIL

Obama Ignored and Overruled Military Leaders

Reports that in 2010 the Commander in Charge in Iraq had informed Obama directly that we needed to leave a residual force of 20,000 in Iraq to maintain the gains against Al-Qaida.

Obama decided to not pursue the matter and negotiate that with any real intent.  Instead he and many Democrats touted the Iraq Withdrawal as a promise kept and war won.

Obama also has said recently that the Intelligence community underestimated ISIS.  I am guessing that he has forgotten, oops, never read his briefings.  Many people, even within his own administration, has been talking about the threat of ISIS for over a year.

Now we have also found out that Military leaders have said that destroying ISIS will require ground troops from the United States.  Obama again has chosen to ignore and overrule the Military leaders and do it his way.

Here we go again

Wisconsin Voter ID Law Taken to Supreme Court

The ACLU and Advancement Project have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to block implementation of Wisconsin's Voter ID law.

Their main argument is "that the law is unconstitutional, in part because it unfairly burdens poor and minority voters who may not have valid IDs"

If I was a betting man, and I am, this will go absolutely no where.

Latest Poll Shows Walker Extending Lead

If you believe polls, the latest Marquette Poll has Scott Walker taking a 5 point lead on Challenger Mary Burke.

Any lead for Walker has got to have him and his supporters feeling pretty good going into the home stretch of the campaign.

Anyone who remembers, during the recall, the poll had the race between Barrett and Walker at a dead heat.  It was reportedly too close to call going in.  Within an hour of the polls closing it was over, Walker won going away.

I have thought that the race really wasn't going to be that close.  I know the polls have been showing it a tight race and within the margin of error.

I just don't think that Mary Burke even comes close to a viable candidate.  She doesn't have much name recognition and made so many mistakes in the campaign that I will be shocked if it is much of a race.  She hasn't shown the ability to get the Democratic Base fired up and this election will be all about turn out.
