Earmarks--The Truth!!!

The Video pretty much says it all about our potential leaders when it comes to Earmarks, and being honest!!!!

Obama & Acorn

Obama put his Community Organization background up against Governor Palin's background as experience. I believe that we need to take a look deeper into the Senators background and experience, especially in light of all of the legal and political issues going on right now with ACORN.

Obama's Community Organizing came from his experience with ACORN. He was a driving force with them when they were pushing, and some would say bullying, banks into issuing sub prime loans.

When Obama was a lawyer/community activist he represented ACORN and sued Fannie Mae to reduce the requirements for getting mortgages. So the lenders complied and loaned to high risk buyers. As any banker will tell you, your credit rating determines your interest rate. So these high risk buyers wound up with adjustable rate mortgages (ARMs). see story

I believe that you can blame all sides for this mess, Republicans & Democrats. However I find it very ironic that Obama will sit there with a straight face and blame it on the Republicans for deregulation. It isn't deregulation, it is people like him. He helped create the mess. The regulation he is talking about is regulation on himself.

Obama was also involved in a lawsuit against Citibank in 1994 also to get the requirements lowered for people to get better loans.

Is it any wonder that Obama's former group is now tied up in all kinds of voter fraud allegations in key swing states. This is the organization that has very strong ties to the nominee, and they are involved in illegal voter activity in key states the nominee must win.

The worst part about the voter fraud, is that there is nothing that can be done. If you throw out all of the votes this group helped get you undoubtedly will also be throwing out some good votes by good people. By the time the mess is cleaned up, the election will be over and nothing will be done if it is found the wrong person was elected.

Brewers end Great Season

The Brewers dropped game 4 of the ALDS to the Phillies to lose the Series 3-1 and end their season.
But....What a great year. After 26 years the Brewers not only gave the fans something to cheer about and dream about in September!!!!! We got to keep going even into OCTOBER!!!!
Thank you to the entire Brewer Organization. This has been fantastic.
If you ever wondered what the Brewer Organization is all about, CC Sebathia summed it up during an interview when he left the door open for a possible return to the club by saying, "I like being around people I enjoy" Thank you CC, Mark, Dale, Doug, Ryan, Prince, and everyone for this magical season.

What next for the Country?

Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Congress finally succeeded in passing the huge $800 billion dollar bailout.

Wall Street responded in kind to the Bailout dropping immediately following the vote.

Nancy Pelosi was then asked if this was going to curb the spending spree that the Dems had planned for next year after the elections. "No" was the answer. This is only a loan we didn't spend the money.

I can't believe that we have allowed this to happen. If this is the new Direction she is talking about I want off the ride.

Brewers face 0-2

The Brewers sent CC to the Mound hopefully to walk out of Philly with at least a split. However the Brewers crawled out of Philly down 0-2. The Brewer Bats have been ice cold and the defense really let them down in game 1.

Home in Milwaukee they will have to do the seemingly impossible and sweep the next 3. They can do it, but they have to get hot, hot, hot.

Brewers drop Game 1

The Brewers dropped Game 1 to the Phillies. Why in the world you would start Weeks over Durham is beyond me. When I first saw the line up I thought that Ned Yost was back at the helm. Weeks didn't surprise me with his error, it is typical Weeks.

The mistake by Cameron did surprise me though. The Brewers will send Sebathia to the mound for Game 2 and have to get out of Philly with a split.

Bailout!!! Who to Blame?

Over the past several days we have all heard about the dire straights that we are in here in America with our economy.  We have heard who is to blame.  The Republicans, the Democrats, the President, Wall Street, Corporate America, Mickey Mouse.....

Who really is to blame?  I personally think that there is plenty of blame to go around.  I think that you can fairly say that both parties had a hand in this mess.  The Democrats can't blame the Republicans as they have controlled both houses and did nothing to stop it.  Republicans can't really blame the Democrats as they controlled both houses prior to the last big election and did nothing to stop it.  You can't really blame the President, as Congress can override him at will.

The blame needs to fall on all of our sorry little asses!!!!  We elect these do nothing people into very powerful positions and then don't hold them accountable.  We don't do our homework before the elections to really find out what they are all about.  We go by the catchy little ads that are put out there because we are too lazy to do some research.  Spend some time to find out about your local, state, and federal reps before election time.  Is the person you put into office last time doing their job as you wish?  Are they voted like you want them to?  If not kick their ass to the curb.  You couldn't get away with that at work could you?

Do your job!!! Remember these people work for us, and should reflect your decisions!!!

BREWERS ARE IN!!!!

The Milwaukee Brewers have ended a 26 year drought of making the playoffs.  Riding the arm of their midseason acquisition CC Sebathia, the Brewers held the Cubs to 1 run until Ryan Braun could blast a no doubt 8th inning 2 run shot to take a 3-1 win.

At almost the same time former Brewer Wes Helms hit a home run to give the Marlins a 3-2 lead over the New York Mets, followed up by a Dan Uggla home run and a Marlins 4-2 win.

BREWERS ARE IN!!!! Play the Phillies on Wednesday.

Big Day for Brewers

The Brewers blew a big opportunity yesterday when they allowed the Cubs to put up 7 runs on them. The Cubs basically started all of their backups and the Brewers failed to capitalize.

The Mets put up a win to bring the Wild Card back into a tie.

Today is by far the biggest game in Miller Parks short history. With the Mets starting an hour earlier than the Brewers you can bet their will be plenty of scoreboard watching throughout this contest. A win by the Brewers and a loss by the Mets, the Brewers are in. A loss by the Brewers and a win by the Mets, the Brewers are done. If they both win or both lose, then a one game playoff tomorrow in NY between the Mets and Brewers to decide who gets in.

Go BREWERS!!!
