Mary Burke's Jobs Plan is not her plan

Mary Burke has been touting her jobs plan for months.  She has claimed that it is what differentiates her from Gov Walker.

Now we find out it isn't really her plan.

After allegations surfaced that the plan was in fact a plagiarized plan using other peoples job plans, Burke now says that the plan was the work of a consultant from outside of Wisconsin.

So let's get this straight.

Her job plan isn't her plan?  It wasn't even designed with Wisconsin in mind?  It is a copy of someone else's plan?

Ok.  So what is her plan?

Seriously.  You are running for Governor,  what is YOUR plan!

Debbie Wasserman Schultz not Welcome in Wisconsin

According to a report by Politico, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is not welcome in Wisconsin by the Mary Burke campaign.

Even though it is always a help to Republicans when she is around, Debbie Wasserman Schultz has finally opened her mouth too many times.

Multiple reports have surfaced since her big oops in Milwaukee when she compared Gov. Walker to a Domestic Abuser.

Gov. Scott Walker has given the “back of his hand” to women. “I know that is stark. I know that is direct. But that is reality,” she said. “What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back.”

Though I don't recall a single Democrat coming out publicly and denouncing her, privately she has taken a beating from Democrats.

Now with Domestic violence being so prevalent in the media due to NFL Players Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson's problems, it has magnified the comments by Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Democrats Wrong again on Wisconsin Financial Future

Over the last couple of weeks we kept hearing that the Walker Administration was going to have a $1.8 Billion budget shortfall.  This was due to a request by Democratic Sen. Jennifer Shilling of Lacrosse made to the Fiscal Bureau.  However, that request was to pretend that there would be no economic growth and no more budget cutting by Republicans.

The Democrats touted that number over and over and over again without telling us the truth about the assumptions.

Now the truth has come out and a new report right along with it.

If you assume that the Wisconsin Economy continues to grow at the same average as it has for the last 6 years, 2.9% and the Republicans pass the cuts they have planned then Wisconsin will actually have a budget surplus of $535 Million.

It was amazing for the Democrats to even pretend to care about a budget that had such a massive shortfall.  They voted on those types of budgets for years when Doyle was the Governor and they support them in the Federal Government as well.

Wasserman Schultz on her way out

It appears that the leader of the DNC may have finally talked her way out of her job as the leadership of the DNC.

For years many people have been appalled at the things she has said and done, but finally many Democrats have had enough.

With all signs pointing toward a tidal wave of Republicans taking office and the Democrats losing control she will deservingly so take the blame.  Along with her boss, President Obama.

The good thing for Republicans is that it looks like they will keep her around through the midterm elections.  She has been a huge lift for many Republican Candidates.  Every time she takes aim on a Republican and opens her mouth she helps them.

Mayor and Chief Pass the Buck to Madison

Crime in Milwaukee has been rampant and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Police Chief Flynn try to push the blame off on lawmakers in Madison.

They want them to get tougher on crime and have mandatory minimum sentencing for Illegal possession of a firearm.

Looks like that move by the leadership of Milwaukee overlooks one glaring issue.  Milwaukee DA John Chisholm.

In a Right Wisconsin Story it appears that Madison wouldn't help when the DA doesn't even charge these cases: Right Wisconsin Story

Over the past two years, Milwaukee leaders have been making demands of state leaders to help them solve the city’s crime problem. One demand being made by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn is for a state law change requiring a 3-year mandatory sentence for illegally possessing a firearm. But while Barrett and Flynn continue to push for the mandatory minimum, a Media Trackers investigation shows that the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office may make their case for mandatory minimums a moot point.
In an open records request to the Milwaukee Police Department, Media Trackers requested information on all MPD police reports forwarded to the DA’s office with the recommended charge of “Possession of a Firearm by a Felon” – a felony under current law — during June, July and August of 2013. What Media Trackers found was that nearly half of those cases referred to the DA’s office by the MPD were never charged.

Of the 142 cases recommended for charges by the MPD between June and August of last summer, a year later Media Trackers was unable to locate any charge related to illegally possessing a firearm in 63 of those cases – a stunning 44.4% of the time – using WCCA.

In at least one case, Milwaukee DA John Chisholm’s office refused to charge a suspect with possession of a firearm as a felon in 2013 only to have the man charged with first degree intentional homicide a year later.

Wisconsin Race for Governor Comes down to Turnout

The race for Wisconsin Governor continues to be a very tight one.  With most polls showing it either tied or Walker with a slight lead.

There also doesn't appear to be a whole lot of undecided voters in this race.  That means that it will come down to who can turn out their voters the best.

This is where Walker has the edge.

The polls only show a slight edge in this for Walker, however history shows a much better than edge for Walker.

The Primary should be a very good indicator.  In Democratic stronghold Milwaukee County it was the Republicans who had the turnout.  They turned out for Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke.

The Democrats pulled out all the stops and dumped record amounts of money into the race to unseat the Sheriff.  However it was the Republicans who came to the Democrats aid.  Wisconsin is a state that requires you to vote either Republican or Democrat in the primary.  With Republicans having little to vote for in the Primary they turned out and voted Democrat and kept the Sheriff safe from his own party.

If the same enthusiasm ensues for the Governor's race in November then Walker should walk away with a good win.

Obama not Ready to Fight ISIS

Obama has repeatedly said that he will not put boots on the ground to fight ISIS.

He also said that they will have no safe haven and we will destroy them.

Which is it?

How do you win a war against an enemy that you are not really prepared to fight?

If the goal is to win the war and win it quickly and decisively then you can not take any options off the table.  You may not want to put boots on the table, but you can't handcuff your own military by telling them that it is not an option.

It appears that the President is only willing to do the bare minimum to try and show that he is doing something.

Election Time Should mean Back to School for Voters

Elections are one of the most important parts of being a responsible citizen.  Your votes to select our leaders is crucial in guiding the local, state and federal governments.

It should be a time when responsible voters go back to school.  Do your own research on each candidate and make informed choices.

Too many voters just vote based off of the countless ads and newspaper writings.  This is just plain crazy.  Understand that most political ads are misleading.  They are meant to sway a voter.  Newspaper and News reporting are also swayed.  They are meant to push the agenda of the writer, reporter, editor or owner.  Very rarely do you get unbiased information from any of these sources.

It is the responsibility of each voter to do their own homework.

Know who you are voting for and why they are best for your needs.

Wisconsin Rep Gwen Moore Upset about Proposal to Drug Test

Wisconsin Rep Gwen Moore is taking Gov Walker to task for a proposal that would require drug testing of those receiving public assistance.

Today, for fun we are going to take her on point for point.

"I find it shameful that Governor Walker has chosen to drug test our struggling Wisconsin families as a condition of eligibility for vital, life-saving social services. The insinuation that those battling poverty are somehow more susceptible to substance abuse is as absurd as it is offensive. Drug addiction and substance abuse knows no economic or social distinctions. This discriminatory policy is devoid of any scientific credibility and has proven in the past to be fiscally irresponsible and a colossal waste of our time."

First of all, I don't think that I have heard any discussion about the people battling poverty being more susceptible to substance abuse.  So for her to be offended by that, well, that is in her own mind.  She is correct that "Drug addiction and substance abuse know no economic or social distinctions" , however, Gov. Walker wasn't talking about those people not receiving our tax dollars to survive.

Lastly on this point, what is the outrage?  If these people are in desperate need of tax money to survive and have a drug habit then they need help.  Help getting off drugs.  Then they will be in a better situation to provide for themselves and their family and maybe not need assistance.

"Forcing the most vulnerable among us to choose between feeding their families and protecting their constitutionally protected rights is disgraceful, even for Governor Walker’s standards. Governor Walker’s insistence on holding critical government aid hostage to appease the likes of the Tea Party is abhorrent to the values we cherish as Americans"

I almost fell over laughing reading this quote.  How is anyone being forced to "choose between feeding their families and protecting their constitutionally protected rights"?  Last I heard the drug tests were for Illegal drugs.  I don't find it disgraceful at all for there to be stipulations on receiving social assistance.  It is pretty simple, if you are spending your money on drugs instead of your family and want the taxpayers to supplement your habit then you shouldn't be receiving the money without stipulations to getting off drugs.  Is it really that difficult to understand?

"We have the capacity to ensure a bright future for those living in poverty and provide them with the economic security they need to support their families and thrive, but there are those on the fringe of the Republican Party who continue to stand in the way. I look forward to the day when Wisconsin can welcome a Governor who is truly committed to helping our working families regain their economic footing."

What in the world is she even talking about?  Does she believe her own BS?

How do you ensure someone's bright future if you don't tackle any substance abuse issues?

Gwen Moore thinks that the fighting poverty programs have been working?  She thinks that things are getting better?

Hello!!!!!  More people are living in Poverty now than when you took office!!!!

Milwaukee DA in More Trouble with John Doe

Milwaukee DA John Chisholm is again staving off yet another dagger.  His buddies at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel are trying to help.

Reports are surfacing that the Milwaukee DA reportedly took it upon himself to go all out and stop Gov. Walker because of what it was doing to his wife,  a Teachers Union Steward.

Right Wisconsin Story:

Stuart Taylor Jr., once nominated for a Pulitzer Prize while at the New York Times, cited a former prosecutor on Chisholm’s staff as his source.  Referring to the role of Chisholm’s wife as a teacher union steward, the source said Chisholm spoke of his wife’s dismay over Scott Walker and Act 10. The source quoted Chisholm as saying “he felt that it was his personal duty to stop Walker from treating people like this.”

If Taylor’s so-far anonymous source is telling the truth, the long-running John Doe investigation could be compromised fatally.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has sense went on the attack in defense of the Milwaukee DA.  They are going all out to smear Taylor.  Then they even printed that there was evidence that Gov. Walker committed a crime.  Really?  What crime?  What evidence?  Multiple courts have said that there was no evidence of a crime and even the DA has said that.

Two things that have become increasing clear during this whole John Doe and John Doe II event:
     1.  The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel does not report news and is very Biased
     2.  Milwaukee DA John Chisholm should lose his license and be removed from office

Democratic Wiscsonsin Attorney General Hopeful Imploding

The Democratic hopeful for Attorney General in Wisconsin is having a rough go of it lately as her past comes back to haunt her and the help she is getting is from some of Wisconsin's disgraced has beens.

She is facing an ethics complaint from a sexual assault victim and has gone into hiding behind her staff and surrogates.

She even marched out former Wisconsin Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager?  She went on the attack of the victim.  Remember the former Attorney General's story?  She was ousted after her own drunk driving arrest while the Attorney General.  Now that is the type of Character you want sticking up for you.

Happ will be pulling out all the stops going into the home stretch of the Campaign.  LOL

7th Circuit Court of Appeals Reinstates Wisconsin Voter ID

In a decision that has taken far too long to reach the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals followed the Wisconsin Supreme Court and has reinstated the Wisconsin Voter ID Law.

The law requires voters to prove who they are when they show up at the polls to vote.

The left and the Unions have been fighting the law since it was passed in 2011.  They claim that it disenfranchises many voters who won't be able to vote because of the law.

I guess that as a Country we must disenfranchise many people on a regular basis.  You can't right a check with an ID, you can't drive without a Drivers License, you can't get into the country without a Passport, you can't fly without and ID, you can't buy Alcohol without and ID.....

All these things in America that you can't do without an ID and they want to say you don't have to prove who you are to vote?

Thank goodness for the Courts.

Wisconsin is taking all the necessary steps to ensure that Voter ID is implemented for the upcoming November elections.
