Hypocrisy of the Politicians

I almost fall over laughing listening to Democrats complaining about the obstructionist Republicans and how Obama should just use Executive action.  Especially from Democrats like Tammy Baldwin and our own Wisconsin contingent in Washington DC.

I seem to remember real clear about a group of Wisconsin State Senators who were very much obstructionist.  So much so that they fled the state of Wisconsin to try and obstruct the passing of legislation.  They were going to do anything to keep legislation that the Governor was pushing from getting passed.

They also cried foul that it wasn't done fairly because they were trying to go around the Legislature by pushing it through while they hid out in Illinois.

Now that the shoe is on the other foot and in Washington they are all for it.

That is the problem with all of these Politician idiots.  When they benefit from cheating and skirting the rules then everything is all good and the proper way to do things.  When it works against them they are upset and want things changed.  If everyone put the politics aside and just made people follow the law and the procedures that have been in place from day one we wouldn't have these issues.

Yes, there would be times when we have obstructionism by one party or the other, but that is how it was meant to be.  It was meant to keep any one chamber of legislature or the government from having too much power.  Harry Reid and the Democrats hailed the changing of Senate Rules while it is benefitting them and their President, but will not be happy when it works against them.  They will complain and be unhappy.  The left is thrilled when President Obama rewrites laws and changes them via the executive action, but will be unhappy when a Republican President does it.

Democrats in Wisconsin we we thrilled when the National Party and the National Unions jumped in with people and money to fight Walker during the recalls.  Now are unhappy when National Party and National help jumps in to help Walker win reelection.

If it isn't right, then it isn't right for either side, you can't have it both ways.

Candidate for Sheriff Vows to Ignore the Law

Chris Moews is running on the Democratic ticket in the Primary and has drown support from the Left in a major push to unseat Sheriff David Clarke.

First came the revelation that Greater Wisconsin Committee is running $400,000 worth of attack ads in a two week period against Sheriff Clark and now Voces de la Frontera Action is paying for a get out the vote program to try and unseat the Sheriff.

According to Voces,  "Lt. Moews has vowed to join hundreds of other cities across the country if elected, and refuse to cooperate with federal immigration officials on ICE holds that jail undocumented people senselessly and arbitrarily."

Sheriff Clarke has made waves with the Democratic establishment for not supporting Mayor Barrett and County Exec Chris Abele.

Many believe that Chris Abele is behind the huge influx of funds behind the attack ads.

The Left Created Walker's War Chest now Despise it

Repeatedly you hear about Gov. Scott Walker taking in outside money.  But how did that all come about?

The Left decided to attack Scott Walker immediately after he took office with a recall.  They and their Union helpers launched an unprecedented all out attack on the Governor and a Recall.  Pulling in help from around the Nation to try and Recall the Governor.  The Governor also pulled in help from all around the Nation to help.  The Governor was able to withstand the onslaught and won the recall.

Now the Left is stuck.  They aren't able to bring in all the outside help.  That help has moved on to other things and other elections.  Scott Walker was able to maintain those relationships and thus maintained that help.  They continue to stand behind the Governor.

The Left created the Machine and now are unhappy that is being used against them.

Now all you hear is about how the Governor's race is being decided by outside money.  However that wasn't an argument during the Recall when the Left was drawing in Millions from the Unions and outside groups.

Nancy Pelosi Flips her Lid on House Floor

Former Speaker of the House and Democratic Leader in the House Nancy Pelosi flipped out on the Floor of the House Friday night.  She didn't like what the Republican Rep. was saying and she stormed across the floor and verbally attacked the Rep.

So what did the Rep. say that was so bad?

"You know something that I find quite interesting about the other side?" Marino said. "Under the leadership of the former Speaker [Pelosi], and under the leadership of their former leader [Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Maryland)] — when in 2009 and 2010, they had the House, the Senate and the White House, and they knew this problem existed.

"They didn’t have the strength to go after it back then. But now are trying to make a political issue out of it now."
I guess the Truth for Pelosi is a painful one.  You know, "We have to pass this Bill to see whats in it"

Marino was factually correct in his assessment.   He was also correct when he followed up the confrontation by stating that he must have hit the right nerve.  The Democrats claim to be so all in favor of Immigration Reform and yet they did not fix it when they had complete control during 2009-2010.  They spent that time creating the Obamacare legislation.

She then attacks the Rep. by telling him that he is an "Insignificant Person".  Nice leadership Nancy Pelosi.  Yet you wonder why people think you are a looney tune.

Violence in Milwaukee Continues

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting:

"Since Thursday morning, at least a dozen people have been hit by gunfire, three of them fatally."

But hey the Mayor and the Chief of Police may have finally figured out a way to fight the 20% increase in gun violence in the city.  They plan on adding a bigger police presence on the streets.  The plan is to only do it during the month of August so they don't quite get it yet.

Wisconsin AG Candidate Doesn't Know the Law

Candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General Jon Richards has found out the hard way that he really doesn't know the law.  As Attorney General you have to uphold the laws and constitution of the state.  He obviously would fail at both.

He is quoted as saying that he wouldn't defend Act 10 as he finds the law unconstitutional.  Sadly for the Candidate, the Federal Appeals court and now the Wisconsin Supreme Court with a 5-2 vote decide the law is in its entirety Constitutional.

So now the Candidate has pretty much told us, the voters, that he will pick and choose which laws that he wants to uphold and more importantly he doesn't know the law well enough to give an accurate opinion on its constitutionality.

Pretty easy to decide that this guy doesn't deserve a vote.
